Went to towneley on way home. Gates closed at 16:45, 15 mins before advertised closing time with 4 or 5 cars behind me probably expecting same.Dazzler wrote:Towneley garden centre ?
Edit: Oh and the one further up towards Pike Hill?

Rung up. Was entertaining at least!
'Are you open?'
No we close at 5
'but it isnt 5'...
I know but we close at 5....
'How much are your trees if I come back tomorrow?'
They are half price.
'So how much is that?'
Well if it was 50 its now 25...
(Great maths) 'So whats the price range?'
No idea...
Drove up the road to the other one mentioned along with half the cars behind me, picked one he'd loaded it in my car and I'd paid for it before Towneley was meant to have closed!
Tell them to get in and put the child lock onHendrickxz wrote:That'd be Springwood Nurseries. Very nice obliging people, really helpful. We were doing some working the garden in the summer involving heavy bags of pebbles. I was incapacitated at the time and the guys loaded everything in the car for us on about three successive visits. Just looking for somebody to unloadthem at the other end now!
