regarding 'Britons' fighting in Syria for the other side being legitimate military targets that should be killed

Course the fact that we shouldn't be even bombing there is a bit of an issue but there you go

The problem is if they come back after fighting for the other side what do we do with them?

Jail, but for how long? Surely has to be life because if they are released after a few years they could attack in the UK.

I hope any Brit fighting for ISIS get killed.

What do we do with people who joined a group that want to enforce a barbaric way of living on the rest of us using torture and death as their tools?
Leave them to die in the desert that they like so much.

Revoke their passports, or at least put an alert on them.
If they make it home throw them in prison because they aren't going to change anytime soon.
Failing that they can go live in Europe with the rest of them.
The less of them that make it out of the desert alive the better it is for the rest of us.

I don't really know what the answer to this question is, but the principle on which it is decided must include a determination to maintain a clear division between their barbarism and our civilisation. We must not allow our desire to combat their atrocities to make us in any way like them. Decisions as to how to deal with them must be made with that principle to the fore.

I think a bit of TLC and psychological rehabilitation should be given to them free of charge - as well as a large house in London where they can bring as many family members to stay as they wish who can use the NHS for any health requirements. I'm confident in a few years they can become useful members of the community and in time they may find work........

I thought any Briton fighting as a mercenary abroad was commiting an offense so expect prison sentenses for those fighting on both sides.
