nowt wrong with Long; how many times is it said that when replacement players come in that they look rusty; off the pace, not good enough etc. but he never lets us down in supposedly the best league in the world; credit to him and the staff for their work on the training field, not easy to play the role he does.

Long played very well.

He wouldn’t be there if SD didn’t think he could do the job. However, it’s always good to see a fringe player making the most of any opportunity.

Should have scored first half.

I was really pleased for the lad today, did everything very well and efficiently.

Had a good game and I have consistently said he is 4th choice at best. Not charged my mind other than I am happy for him to be 4th choice. Well done Kevin.
