Having seen off watford with three goals all onside but only being allowed one, stoke will be next in our firing line.
I can see us scoring at least three against this lot. Don't think Mark Hughes will have enough time to individually rap each of their hapless players on the knuckles with a wooden ruler for that inept performance against spurs yesterday.
We might even score five just to add to their woes.
Definately a game where Barnes will be needed. We will be far too good for them all over the pitch. They're not as fat as watford, but they play into our hands whatever formation they opt for. Joe Allen is the only shining light in a very lumpen team.

Maintain our maximum effort approach and we have a good chance of another win. Lower our standards at all and we could easily get beat.

Without Heaton, Lowton, Mee and Brady the rest of the squad have stepped-up fantastically but don't think we're set up to dominate or heavily out-score anyone. Until we either get players back fit or can invest in new ones it's more about the points than the eye-catching quality of performances.

We made 9 changes that night - far fewer than your joke of a team did.

The game might of only been 2-0 but it was certainly a 2-0 hammering - it was men against boys. Stoke aren't as bad as Spurs made them look and Hughes won't have taken it lying down either. Expect a reaction and no push over and another scrappy 1-0 to the Burnley will do nicely as overconfidence on here is most often followed by humble pie!
