Shaqiri

Ugly but great win last night. Obviously conditions were difficult and we weren't at our best. Stoke similar. Have to say though that I thought Shaqiri was superb for them and a real handful. Couldn't believe Hughes took him off, no wonder the Stoke fans were booing and chanting "you don't know what you're doing".

That substitution and Barnes introduction worked a treat. :D

Wasn't happy being brought off himself. Was shaking his head all the way off the pitch, stormed past Hughes and flung his gloves at the bench  was glad to see the back of him my self as he is a very dangerous player who can often be the one to make that bit of a difference in a tight game.

Cheeky bid in Jan? ;)

Good player, and I have to be honest, was one I didn't expect to fancy an away day on a cold night in Burnley.

Went up in my estimation, but he does seem very inconsistent. Would love to see what Dyche could do with a player like that.

He was sneaking about a bit last night..but our lads had the measure of him...as a manager Hughes had to change something and settle for the point maybe.playing against an established top six side isn't easy.

He is a good player but totally ignored Hughes during the first half and continued to do so until Hughes took him off, the rant from Shaqiri was onlt topped off by Hughes who told him what he thought, now not sure how much Shaqiri understood as most of what he said seemed to begin with f and end in k or g.
But he would be a good player for Sean to work magic on

Isn't she the gorgeous Colombian singer with the fantastic stomach and hips that move independently of her body?

He reminded me very much of Harry Burrows, who played for them in the 60's/70's, both in
stature and in ability.

He was a very good player, and I remember him torturing us many times over the years.

As a Mr Men fan as a child, it was nice to see one of my former heroes

Would definitely be happy if he was to join the Clarets. Different player to what we currently have and would add a new dimension.

Agree completely, but for me, Zouma won everything and the game completely changed when he went off injured.

When he was taken off I was thinking “we could get him”. Players like being in the champions league.

Shaqiri was their best player by far even though he kept berating the ref.

Definitely, Shaqiri is a talented lad but doesn’t seem to affect the game as much as he should.

Zouma was probably Man of the Match until he went off. We couldn’t trouble him at all.

I still think Shakira would be a better signing, imagine watching that body swerve every week, it would brighten up an otherwise dull game maybe? I believe she's very good up front but also plays well in the middle.

Thought Zouma and Shaqiri were excellent. I was delighted to see them both get substituted ( not meaning I wanted them injured).Would love either of them at Burnley

It’s funny, stoke have both the shortest fattest player and the tallest thinnest player in the league...
