Tonight's matches

I can't see Liverpool, Arsenal nor Tottenham losing to lower opposition tonight. Being 4th was fabulous and the silly grin will remain on my face until this evening. However, being joint 6th with Tottenham is still fab.

Do you see any of these 3 losing or drawing?

Who knows. I couldn't see Palace beating Watford or Burnley beating Stoke last night with only a few mins left but they both did.

I’d say Arsenal possibly to drop points. What sort of result would we want Brighton to get ahead of Saturdays match?

All three could easily be draws.

All 3 teams to suffer 5.0 defeats and also a red card fest at Gresty Road that is 0.0 after extra time then the Railway Men win 3.0 on penalties.

We have 31 points from 17 games so nothing else matters !

We won so we cant end up worse off against any of the others (barring maybe on GD).
It's possible that 1 (or even 2) of Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal or Spurs could fail to win; WHU v Arsenal could be especially tricky after WHU's last couple of performances.
Otherwise the Southampton v Leicester game means at least 1 of our chasers will lose out in this round of games, as Watford already have.
Very nice to have the 3 points in the bag whatever happens.

Watford should have been out of sight last night with Troy Deeney guilty of a glaring miss just before half time.

I have been watching Sky sport all day being poorly as I am.

Whilst I think Sky are having some fun at our expense it's giving the town some real exposure.

We could have 37 points by the transfer window if we can keep this up, then it's really important we add some more quality to the squad.

Spurs are really short at the back at the minute with an eye on Vertonghen being rested too with a feat of him getting a yellow would rule him out of their match vs City at the weekend (Plus side of that being if he picks one up vs City he would miss the game vs us).

I would say the more points we have at the transfer window the less we need to spend in January. Add to and improve the squad where possible, as we usually do, but absolutely no need to panic buy at inflated prices and wages. Besides which, most signings take half a season to "get" the Dyche way, so any January signing might not get off the bench, or be at his best, until next season.

Perfect time to get in for Lansbury then I say.

4 games before the window opens. I’d take 4 points from those games. Anything more would be a bonus

Another way of looking at things is if we're (pretty much) safe when the transfer window opens, the possibility is that we'll be even more attractive to players as they know we'll be in the Prem next season. It could allow us to bring in a couple of players who perhaps aren't getting enough/any game time and play for a country still in the World Cup.

Of the teams below us (not including the big six)
Leicester, I think, will finish above us, even if we keep up our great form.

Everton might draw too many.

Leicester I can see winning six or seven games on the bounce.

I'm watching West Ham v Arsenal, a much improved West Ham as of late, they're sharper and seem to have a lot more fight in them, can't see Hart getting back in at this rate, Spammers defence much improved and coupled with a confident Adriane, I think they'll be safe. Got a feeling west ham are going to win this one.

They've hit the post and crossbar and the Everton goal was a goalkeeping error. But yes, they are gonna be down there I think

No I'm relating to your any one paying over the odds for a ticket is a fool... Sam gonna pay shed loads and over the odds would be a bigger fool IMO. And yes he's a good manager.

As you know they won four and drew one of their last five games. I saw those fixtures and said on this message board I fancy Swansea to avoid relegation. I think I said at Hull's expense but it might have been Palace I said would go. I certainly said The Hull v Palace game would ve a massive decider a few weeks before hand.

OK it's just a feeling about Leicester and I might be wrong and I might be right.
