It is a well known fact, that Benedictine is the only human made substance that can make the drinker strong with “the force”.

Had a proper dodgy stomach a couple of weeks ago. Was rough all week. Belly swollen like a balloon. Got a bottle of the said golden elixir of life, AKA Bene. Had a glass of bene n hot. Within half an hour - cured!
I then proceed celebrate my newly found physical improvement, by having several more!
Two hours later - Never felt better!

My gran used to say it was good for belly ache. To me it tastes like cough medicine.

As Wikipedia suggest.

Try getting one at Lancs County Cricket Club.
They know that me and flixtonclaret are mental but asking for a bene went that step too far. It took virtually all last season for them to 'source' a bottle despite my offer of bringing my own or them just nipping around the corner to Tesco at Trafford Park.
The bottle was drunk in one night.

Is that classed as a religious miracle cure?
Perhaps Burnley could be the new Lourdes!

Saw them stacking a full end unit in Burnley ASDA with bottles of bene this lunchtime. £15 a throw but I think that might be 500ml?

A few weeks back, me and a few mates were out in Altrincham and decided it would be sensible, after 9 hours drinking, to venture onto a cocktail that was Benedictine, Milk and Honey. Tasted awesome from what I can remember. Which is hardly anything!

Beautiful Benedictine.......always a bottle on the go in our house!
Wonderful medicinal properties.......I brought someone back to life with a hip flask full once, enough for him to start drinking again

I once was a barman in australia and was asked for something different. They got a bene and hot. There is now a pub in rural victoria which serves these fairly regularly.

I was in Asda Colne last week and people were asking for it (a bottle of Bene) but being told it wasn't stocked.
I wasn't impressed as I'd have loved a bottle myself.
