Thank you BFC

Post by RalphCoatesComb » Wed Dec 27, 2017 12:48 pm

A mate of mine who doesn't have an account on this forum asked me to post this on his behalf.

He had cause to contact the Club recently to ask a favour on behalf of a fan (not a Claret) who has been struggling with a health issue. The response from the Club... instant and "What can we do to help?" He had also contacted another Club (the parent Club of the fan), The response... instant and "How can we fob you off?"

Unfortunately, I can't go into personal details but, THANK YOU BFC. Can't mention the staff involved but, you know who you are !

As my mate put it... "We may be swimming in a big pond now but we haven't lost sight of who are important... the fans!"

It's great to live in Proudsville !

I know of other stories of great kindness from the club that often go under the radar. So I would also echo the sentiments of this OP and say well done to all at BFC who go the extra mile, you are appreciated and my most recent memory of an extra mile was for the Newcastle home game. Thanks to all BFC staff involved, from another resident of Proudsville.

You'll have to get a riddle on. Houses are getting snapped up pretty quickly.

I am really pleased you had such a great response from the club.

I on the other hand did not, really disappointed with the response and surprised that they did not want to be involved with the charity work I am doing.
