What transfer surprises will 2018 bring

Post by Bfc » Thu Dec 28, 2017 2:19 pm

It's getting very close to the transfer window re opening and the rumour mill will soon be in full swing. Whether it's from the press speculation, on our ins and outs, or from people on here claiming to know inside information of deals.

It's an exciting time for us all to look forward to. I think the manager will look to buy at least one other high priced quality target. With possibly another, a player from a lower league club coming in. Then he could surprise us by selling, cashing in on a couple of fans favourites, to re coup some of his spending.

I'd be surprised if 2018 closes with Kane not wearing the white of Real Madrid and Bale of Tottenham.

Possible but Kane has made it quite clear he would be quite happy becoming a one club legend.... like they used to be and its not like Spurs wont be making him a very rich man as he does it

Extract from the BBC website.

Crystal Palace, Everton and Burnley are tracking Angers' 24-year-old Cameroon striker Karl Toko Ekambi.

Monkey 'Angers?

Surely we need to be aiming higher than signing players from Hartlepool.

Angers is a city in western France, about 300 km (190 mi) southwest of Paris. It is chef-lieu of the Maine-et-Loire department and was, before the French Revolution, the capital of the province of Anjou. The inhabitants of both the city and the province are called Angevins.

Any wiser ? I am.

Lots of chatter about Tarkowski being wanted by Chelsea, Arsenal and even Man City.

Big payday for Brentford! They should send us the rest of their team for financial development purposes!

2 transfers only I'm afraid unless some go out, and it still might only be 2.
It's not a CB either I'm afraid for those who want 1.

Think we should sign Bradley Dack from Rovers then loan him back out to one of their promotion rivals.
