Might make a habit of this. Filmed three free kicks - Barton v Southampton, Brady v Chelsea and now this. And one penalty - Murray for Brighton.
Look closely and you will also see a certain clarets keeper going equally nuts - before a more subdued clap
Great scenes.

Wish people would put the phones away and get behind the team. No wonder the atmosphere at football matches is going downhill. In reality you end up with some poor quality footage, taken from a distance. Surely it just ends up getting deleted?....or put on youtube to satisfy the vanity of the person who recorded it.

That’s a bit harsh, Welsby. Some people like seeing a fans view and experience now and then. If you don’t then fair enough, but I enjoyed that.

Think i'm just old fashioned Claretforever. Stuck in the wrong generation. It's not just football it's everywhere and I just hate the effect that mobile phones have on people. I was travelling on a train the other day and there were 4 late teens/ early 20s sat opposite. None of them said a word to each other for the whole journey but they all just sat staring at their phones. Imagine if everyone just got their phone out every time there is a free kick or a penalty and just started recording. Robotic. Just enjoy the moment.

Thanks for the footage, enjoyed it, even if Elton's shagpiece did not.

Y'know what I think I might film this freekick. I think that being 200m away and using my phone will bring up better results than about 600 HD TV cameras

If I wanted to see it from a TV camera I’d rewatch Match of the Day, not click on a thread with the title ‘Defour goal-
fans eye view ’.

Well I enjoyed the different perspective. Coverage of the goal wasn't up to TV standard but that's not the point of the clip.

THANKS for the chance to see, savour and enjoy the experience from the fans' viewpoint something the tv cameras at Old Trafford can't do because United would like everyone think that only home supporters are there/worth watching - very rare to get a shot of the away support because of the club's selfish attitude ('WE are the Almighty ones' - no wonder they end up with "The Moaner".) Even the BBC report was entitled"2 points dropped "- of course all about Utd not getting a win ! They weren't' ever in a position to drop 2 points that headline should have been about the Clarets. From the Reds point of view it could only be "One point rescued !!!!!"

For the Millennials, 'living in the moment' means staring that those infernal smart phones 24/7. Reality just doesn't matter any more - the possibility of becoming the author of a 'liked' viral video is their primary driving force in life nowadays. Like this lot who went to 'see' the Pope in 2013, versus those who were there in 2005.

That comparison tells it's own story, frightening how things change with people not really noticing.

The actual trye story tells the demise of kodak. We studied it at work. 98 percent of the pictures were taken with a kodak. A few years later kodak had gone bust as they hadnt moved with the times...

In fairness as above its a slight pet hate of mine when people constantly have it out 'oooerr' gigs are the worse. But i dont see an issue with capturing some of the moment. And i was certainly in the moment when that goal went in. Didnt even look at the video during filming or until about 3 days later when i uploaded it.
Glad i did though. Captures it all.
I know one thing though. If i hated it that much. I wouldnt then log into a forum. Find a thred about said subject. Watch the video. Then post a complaint about it. Thats almost sadistic

I see myself totally quiet and reserved behind Heaton there.
To the poster above, I did actually ask him pre-match if I had to watch his shoulder when we scored and I went nuts. He said crack on as you please. Top lad.
