Might just be the ticket office being closed possibly. Give them a call when they re-open?

Maybe, but the people talking are usually right about these things.
Most people I have spoken to are going in groups of 15 plus with plenty of part time clarets going.

Do you ink or know that there are more, Leisure? It’s a shame the club won’t tell anyone. Various reports of people being told less than 1,000 left so it’ll be a great following whatever we’ve sold now. I hope it sells out as 7,600 would be an amazing following.

I got an email today telling me to grab my fa cup tickets.
I presume it was just sent to all the clubs mailing list.
I've decided to give my tickets up, so those who usually don't have enough points, can't afford, dont like queueing, miss out online or dont like travelling far etc can attend.
Hope it's a great experience all round for them, and it goes some way to making up for missing Wembley , Etihad and Old Trafford for the league games.

On the official club site the "Liverpool Match Guide" was posted on Sunday moring. In the guide it says that the match is a sell-out, however it also says that there are still still tickets available for the FA Cup game with Manchester United at the Etihad.
The number of mistakes on the official club website never ceases to amaze me. Who is responsible for writing these articles? Sometimes the spelling and accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.
Anyway presume it means there are still tickets left for the City game?

Could it be that hey have just taken them off sale online because they won’t be able to guarantee they will arrive through the post in time?

You would do if you ever get the opportunity to visit them.
Lounge Bar just off Bonanza Square - The only place to watch the Clarets if your in the area.

Coincidentally the missus wants to go there next year, we’ve been before and her sister has just been to a really nice hotel there.

I got an email from the club at 12.47 today saying tickets were still available and last day for postage was the 3rd of Jan.
The club sometimes takes tickets offline if they think they could oversell while nobody is in the office. It's a little puzzling why we haven't got software that can count properly or they trust.

I may have an u18 ticket going spare because my stepson might not be able to get time off work. The only problem is I'll have to meet somewhere near the ground. But it hasn't been confirmed yet so will update when the chaos in our lives has ceased!

Really p'eed off about this. Ordered tickets for me and my lad before going on holiday over Christmas. Returned to find no tickets awaiting, and having checked I can't find any trace of an order confirmation- though I'm certain it flashed up at the time. Having said that, the order history page looks like it's changed and doesn't appear to be working!
Anyone else had similar issues?

You should get a confirmation email after purchasing tickets online.

I know and it’s my fault for not checking but I’m sure the confirmation came up on screen.
Also I didn’t get any emails yesterday saying they were still available as you seem to have done, even though I am on the mailing list. Website definitely says sold out.

Yep..same issue. Just rang them and bought 3. Only a few hundred left the guy said. Call 01282 446800...and press option 3. Option 2 is the usual ticket extension...but there was no answer

Wonder how many we would have taken if they had given us more? Maybe an extra 500?
Great to sell out though. Looking forward to it as it's the closest PL stadium to me!

I doubt it. No news about that at city end. I don't think there are any available blocks left to give to you. The game is still onsale to City fans but when you look online there are only a few single seats dotted around the ground.
I think a couple of clubs have brought 8,000 plus to City, but this will be one of the biggest away crowds at our ground. The only downside is that you have got our 'popular end' so it will be mostly Burnley singing. City have a small fans group which organises singing, flags etc and I think they are basing themselves in the bottom tier of your stand behind the goal. So that will be where most of the noise is but from experience they get drowned out by big away support.
