Heard through the grapevine that we are looking to take Simunovic from Celtic for around £7m

Seen him play quite a few times and I can understand why we'd be going for him.

Isn’t he a tad on the fragile side?

We were looking at him in the summer according to a lot of reports - I was told at the time that there was nothing in it although that could have changed. He's since signed a contract with Celtic until 2021.

Brendan Rodgers said during the summer that he didn't want him to leave. From what I've seen, he has potentiel to be the next Keane.

From what I've seen of Celtic they are bobbins in Europe and play in a league that is on a par with League One. Van Dijk is decent though so we will obviously trust Dyche. I've no interest in what Brenda thinks

It's not about Celtic, it's about Simunovic. We signed Heaton from a side that got relegated, after all.
Quality players can stick out like a sore thumb and he does for Celtic.

Jozo is a very tall mobile centre half who is good with the ball. He's still only 23. My source is well in with all things Celtic and it's come from their side.
The injuries are my concern he has been on the treatment table a bit too much.

Particularly impressive when they lost 7-1 and 0-5 to PSG
I know what you are saying, and I'm not writing him off - Dyche knows more than all of us put together. From what I've seen of him I haven't been in slightest bit impressed

It's surprising how many players we've signed have turned out to be bloody brilliant.
People were up in arms when we signed Heaton... "They've just been relegated, he can't be that bloody good!"
"Wood is a coming from a Championship side!"

Tackles like a someone from the Baltics. Looks hard in a Kevin Ball way.

5 league appearances in a pub league this season.
25 last season.
Didn't feature in Celtics biggest game of season v Rangers
Hardly a mainstay!

Signed him on Championship Manager and he was unruly as well as being injury prone. I’ve emailed the club my obvious concerns over this signing. Next.

He's slightly quicker than Mrs WestMids at the moment. Hoping you got home, eventually, and all went well.

Well the world's most expensive defender came from Celtic at a similar age and people are writing Simunovic off already....

Potentially the slowest player I’ve ever seen play for us but still managed to be a solid defender.

Which of Kevin Ball and Jozo Simunovic would David Dunn have rather played against?

I doubt Simunovic would defiantly walk off the pitch after just being shown a straight red. With a face that basically said. "I know I've just been given my marching orders. But, it was f***** worth it and I can still actually walk. Where as......."

I seem to remember us having been linked with him in the past. Definitely wouldn't say no to a new CB.

Just shows how ridiculous the PL has become when clubs like Celtic can't compete with us on wages.
It's a big adjustment though to come straight from the SPL to the PL and to face the quality and speed of players in the PL.
