Liverpool Red and White Kop forum. Cluless.
Just a couple of quotes (there's many more of a similar vein)from the Liverpool forum. Totally clueless. What is it with the supporters of the so called 'big 6'. Arrogance personified.
'It's because he's a prick who plays diabolical football. His team do nothing but hoof, dive and dangerously foul their opponents. He complians in every single post match interview about how there's a conspiracy against little old Burnley because they haven't had a penalty all season or how the other team cost far more than his. He's done a good job with the players and resources he's got but they're a dirty bunch of thugs who play horrific football and that's why people don't like them/him.'
'Burnley play **** football because that's how dyche plays it and knows how to coach it. '

Yet another damning endightment of the modern day football fan. We are a bunch of dirty thugs yet apart from Llannas tremendous interception on JBG I cannot think of another tackle in the game actually worthy of the name tackle.

Dyche is a bit of douchebag if you ask me. The fact he refers to himself in the 3rd person, tells you something about how he thinks people see him- a unique, special individual.
I don’t recall ever hearing Dyche refer to himself in the third person

That's twice now that I've seen "Indictment" spelt horribly wrong since I used the word in a post a few days ago.

To be fair theres lots of praise for Dyche too:
"You can only coach to play to a certain style and level of play with the quality(or lack) of the players that you can afford.
Otheriwse, every team will be playing like Barcelona.
So yeah, kudos to the coach fpr getting it out of the players.
Very much like Klopp getting as much from the inherited players as he could. That's coaching and not depending on buying all the time like the big clubs."
"Burnley play a brand of football that is tough to play against, uneasy on the eye yet incredibly effective. They all work hard for each other and maximize their abilities. I expected a dogfight and that is what we got."
Also lots of praise for Pope's save:
"What are Pope's wrists made out of by the way
https://streamable.com/lvm06" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Unreal. So nonchalant on the replay"
"That was an amazing save."
"He's in absolutely brilliant form this season, Pope. Seen somewhere that he has in some cases, TWICE the stats De Gea has, having played around the same number of minutes! The rest of the goalies' stats, in the prem, don't even come near him."
Some of them are saying it's their favourite win of the season so far! this says a lot and shows how far we have come!

Re: Liverpool Red and White Kop forum. Cluless.
I think this is the norm now. I have looked at other 'big six' forums from time to time (try Chelsea for goodness sake) and it is becoming endemic. The sheer arrogance of these so-called football fans is beyond belief. They seem to think they have a divine right to beat everyone else who isn't in their elite little club and writhe and squirm when it doesn't happen (how dare they beat us or take points off us). The London teams are the worst because they go all out and insult the town and it's supporters as well. It's when I read their bile that I wish Sky would pull the plug and leave them with all their millionaire 200k per week players on 5 year contracts. Then we would see how 'committed' their billionaire owners were if they had to fund all that nonsense.
The really odd thing looking at these sites is that the team with most to shout about at the moment, City, do seem to have fans with a sense of humour and with their feet fairly fixed on the ground. I really am grateful that I started supporting our great club when I did all those years ago, I can't imagine being one of the massed ranks of trophy hunters at one of these clubs moaning and crying every time my team lost a point to another 5 places below. How very sad it all is.

Re: Liverpool Red and White Kop forum. Cluless.
I remember the first time my heart sank at what big club fans mentality was in the Prem first hand - the first time we got promoted and we played Liverpool at home .... Maxi Rodriguez? And Gerrard scored class goals and tore us apart for most of the game.
Was walking off after that game just happy to have seen their level of football and the "superstars" of the Prem at the time (how things change as I was gutted walking off last night). A couple of Liverpool fans walking past up Belverdere Rd talking about the match and I heard "that was rubbish, we should have hammered them - was so boring" ..... This was after they beat us 3-0? It just made me think that some fans were just spoilt and just had no idea of what they actually witness regularly.
The comments don't surprise me from Liverpool fans after that day as before then I saw them as a good bunch of happy go lucky fans, not the "we are massive" mentality which I have always seen since.

There were four 35/40yr old Liverpool fans coming out of McDonald's In the centre when I walked past. Bragging about how they had gone in a Maccys full of Burnley fans and come out unscathed, like they took over the place.

Ha ha, yeah, they didn't help the Liverpool stereotype did they? They would have pinched another if it hadn't have been for an eagle eyed steward.Lancasterclaret wrote:Ask them if we can have our ball back!
