Really hope we try and sign this guy again. Would be perfect in the Hendrick role. He’s not been starting every game for deportivo due to Lucas Perez being used upfront.

He’s a good player, similar to Ings in many ways.

That made me laugh but I don`t know why!!!??? TERRIBLE

We need someone desperately to fill Brady`s role. Someone who offers an instant out-ball, penetration, good delivery and dare I say it, bite.

call me optomistic but this might get done. deportivo sitting 3rd from bottom in la liga. might want greener pastures.

Wouldn't surprise me if Brighton go in for him. He was good last year but hasn't had a look in since Perez went back, I wouldn't pay anywhere near the 18 million or whatever it was they were asking for in the summer though - if you consider Etiene Capoue looks like leaving Watford for 12 million.....

He's gash, I think people want him for his fancy name, he's actually a clone of Martin Paterson. Zero quality on the ball and runs round like a headless chicken. We need more quality.

That will explain why Deportivo have a £20-25M clause in his contract.

What relevance does the release clause have? Supposedly Kareem Benzema has a release clause set at 1 billion. The release clause isn't supposed to be set at the market value of a player, it's so the players can buy out their contract with money given from the buying club. Deportivo aren't going to screw themselves by setting the release clause low are they? The release clause fee has absolutely no relevance to his footballing ability, a better indication would be to watch him play.

All we need is someone who can carry out the Brady role at 80%. There will be someone out there who can occupy the minds and deliver. Hell...just get Pritchard in.

He played in the Euros for Romania and was bobbins, I've seen him in La Liga a few times since we were initially linked. He's not the player we need, he's a slightly better version of Ian Moore. The Romanian Martin Paterson, we need a player with quality on the ball like Ings not a headless chicken runner.

Must be good if Deportivo want £18M for him. After all, why would the selling club want an inflated ridiculous fee?

To be fair to krbfc, how many times have the folk who want him in seen Andone play? We don't know how good he is or potentially is - but hopefully our scouts have an idea.

He’s a good player and would be good for us as an Ings type player.

Dyche must of seen something in him or he would never of been in for him . The question is were would he haved played as a striker ? Behind the striker or out on the wing . Considering we play 1 up behind the striker would be my guess

He plays in the similar position in a similar style and has similar attributes to Ings. I don’t know what’s so confusing for you about that.

There's a reason we wouldn't get anywhere near the £18M asking price and went for Wood instead.
Dyche for all his qualities has signed duds previously, I wish he'd have sought advice from me before signing Juke. All managers sign duds, even the greats like Fergie, Pep, Mourinho. This is a football messageboard and I will give my opinion on the topics regardless of what you or Dyche think.

I watched him play against Real, I think just after the window shut before. He looked good in that game, a real grafter with pace and skill causing the Real back line some problems. However I looked at his stats a few days ago and was surprised to see he has only scored two or three league goals so far this season. Obviously unsure if that's down to playing in a poor side, or he isn't quite up to what we thought he was?

He signed Juke because he only had a small budget. Juke, before his injury, put in some very good performances.

If Andone ticks the boxes for Dyche then im happy. I think the biggest tell tale if he's worth it is if we actually do make a strong offer. We have a better track record when splashing the cash, has Dyche made a bad big money signing? Gray, Hendrick, Cork, Defour, Brady, Wood.

He hasn’t started as regularly for them as previously after the arrival of Lucas Perez from Arsenal. This lack in game time, combined with Deportivo being bottom 3, was why I started the thread as he may be available now. In the summer, he seemed to want to be loyal to Deportivo but may fancy the move now.

Don't remember that but I do remember his all round play was decent. Strong, energetic, pacy - much of what we require.
