Just seen that Kenanks is closing as a restaurant and concentrating on delivery.

Shame it hasn't worked out for them. After a few so-so meals there early on, they've been on form every time we've been in the last 2 years, and we really enjoyed going there.

Just read the FB post. A lot of business's close after the New Year trade but I find it strange they are keeping the building and hoping to rent it out for parties etc.
I presume its the rates etc that are too much for the business to make a do, but they will still have them all.

Unless the kitchen facilities there are top class and can boost the takeaway's performance.

I went twice and found the service to be a real let down.

Food was excellent, mind.

Wonder if a Burnley FC Themed sports bar could make a do on the site? Ideally placed for pre match with a shuttle bus.

I did wonder once if a service could be done where people park at the Liverpool Rd business centre and get a canal Boat to and from the turf

The comedy and themed evenings are always sold out and are really good.

Suppose you can't expect it to keep going on 1 busy night every week to fortnight. There always seemed plenty of staff in.

I got the greasiest burger I've ever had when I ordered from them, the brown paper bag was basically transparent - 6/10.

Be the biggest takeaway in town in one respect.
