Phil Foden - Worth a loan bid?

Ive heard many great things about this lad prior to him getting the wider attention.
Could we offer more first team football for him than City at this time? Yes
Is he better than what we have? He has to be, or there is no point.
We aren't interested, frankly in his development so is he going to push for a 1st team place now?

Not sure he is better than what we have at this moment in time.
Needs time to develop, but may be best served at a Championship club on loan.

Agree with this - apart from anything else it's generally the case that young wide players are a bit naive defensively to immediately pick up the demands of our system. And Foden for all his promise is still very young so inevitably naive.
And I'm in any event I think his injured.

Fidel is injured and Pep apparently doesn’t want to loan him as he feels he will learn more from training (and occasionally playing) at city. That’s according to a mate who has a season ticket at City.
For what it’s worth, attcking wise, unlocking a defence etc I reckon he is better than what we currently have.

Not sure we'll get many loans from Liverpool after how little Flanagan played. They really are tight on who they loan to to make sure the players will get game time

I think there are wider issues with Flanagan, in my opinion a player who had it to early in his career, when he warmed up I thought all year he “carried too much timber” and that must have riled Dyche, he was verging on the England team to be made to look garbage by Accy Stanley
With Woodburn it would be different, if we signed him on loan (Vokes could put in a word) he could easily get 7-10 goals in the remaining matches.
