this is an interesting technique for using drones, Charlton are using them to analyse their training and provide feedback to the players.

I think Bristol City were the first to introduce this earlier in the season

If they did, it looks to be paying off for them doesn't it. It's another innovative use of tech that can support the analysis of the game to improve the team, I'm all for it.

They tried it at Yeovil last week (sort of). One over the ground during a game and play was suspended for some time.

Not against it but how is it an improvement on analysis using actual game time from Skys’s 24 camera footage, or whatever number they have? Those a real situations, not training ground simulations

It's just like watching football from the top tier of the Camp Nou. It's the equivalent of watching ants and one can see very quickly if a goal is going in or not. The keepers look very small in relation to the goals.

It's also like atoms. They say that atoms are 99.9% empty and so is a football pitch with players. They take up such a small space on the pitch in terms of the footprint of the pitch and yet in matches at match level, the pitch seems full of players.

Apparently Rovers are trying to get drones to play for them, supplementing the one managing them.

What are these drones armed with? Bit harsh to use them on the players during training.
