Manchester United Getting It Right

Sevilla are charging Manyoo fans £89 per ticket for the Champions League.

Manyoo have tried to negotiate with Sevilla but the spanners are refusing so United have set Sevilla fans prices at the same level and will subsidize their own fans' away tickets for the game in Seville.

You have to feel for the Sevilla fans caught up in the argument but well done to manyoo for doing something about this outrageous hike and looking after their own.

Sevilla are charging Manchester United (away) fans £89 for tickets for their Champions League game. MU have retaliated. Sevilla fans will be charged £89 at Old Trafford with the club using the extra money to subsidise their own fans.

Prices continue to get ridiculous.

Those are the cheap seats, there are another 200 available for £133.

Liverpool were charged £54 in the group stages.

Still we don't have to worry about such things............ yet.

I would hope both sets of away fans would boycott the ties.

Unfortunately it won't happen as there's quite a few rich fans these days that will pay whatever clubs wish to charge.

Tony wonder if you could start a savings scheme where we all pay in £14 a month for the 2018/19 qualifying games so our first away game is paid for. perhaps if you check on how tickets for the final in Madrid we will get. And if by any chance we dont make it to European cup the money saved could perhaps go to Barry Kilbys prostate appeal.

Any credit United might have got from this is lost when they try and screw over the Sevilla fans in exactly the same way. In fact, now they've put up the Sevilla prices to pay for it, it's not costing them anything, it's football fans who are paying.

But if tit for tat price hikes are your thing, as fans pay £90 to see a game while multi-billionaire owners rake it in, then cool, it's a top initiative.

Man Utd have insisted on charging fans about £50 for cup games then go mad when costs are high for them. They think because they are a big club they can have everything all ways with the gain in their favour.

Man Utd constantly over charge.

Supply and demand. At £89 a ticket, to watch United in the champions league knockouts at a new stadium they will sell out in hours.

To disagree to having you're fans over charged and to simply do it yourself as some kind of stand off is pathetic. I'm pretty damn sure the Sevilla fans didn't make up the prices. There's a great opportunity for Utd to simply charge Sevilla a fair price and be the bigger club here. But they find it acceptable to rip off Sevilla fans to reimburse they're own

But would you pay £89 to watch Burnley if they'd have been in the CL 95% of the time in the last few decades and played in numerous semi finals and finals??

That's completely true. They are far from benevolent owners.

But that doesn't mean they shouldn't get praise when they do something right.

I cannot accept Manure have got anything right until they sack the Moaner.

He is destroying one of the iconic (true, whether you like it or not) brands in our game, if not the game itself.

They ( Seville ) may rip off the away fans, so they can put on free Christmas parties for the kids and keep the prices of a twix down. If both of those are in place already, I don't give 2 hoots what they charge the away fans. Look after your own first and foremost, football clubs are not run to suit the visitors.

Some are barely run to suit their own fans most of the time.

Sevilla seeing an opportunity to make a few quid from a numerous CL away support. Bad form.

Sevilla are the ones in the wrong here. Maybe now seeing the ‘gesture’ has been reciprocated by Utd, they might lower their prices to help their own travelling support.

We will see.

And yes, I’d pay it to see Burnley. But I think I’d do it only once, to say id seen it. After that, well...
