Is it necessary to start a new thread to complain about something that nobody has mentioned?

You see them hanging around don't you, speaking their own little language when you walk past.

Demanding their own changing rooms at the sports centre, and have you tried going in there? They'll arrest you and lock you up.

"Nobody has mentioned"

I know people on here ignore the borderline racists posts in the interests of not getting the board shut down, but you can take that a bit far

I actually think UpTheBeehole is a psychopathic right winger on here to wind normal people up into hating him and the crap he posts.

Because he certainly doesn't do any favours for muslims or the left wing.

They all drive the same cars as well don't they? Goodness knows how they get insurance driving like they do.

I've heard a lot of them don't even get insurance, they just drive around in the white Fiat 500s thinking they're above the law, blasting out that 'music' they listen to.

Roundabouts mean nothing for them, and they never indicate, ever.

No, I'm just here to call out the pure bilge that comes out of other posters' fingertips.

As someone who is more to UTB political/social thinking that yourself at a guess, I'd like to point out that 100% of the almost racist posts are posted by about six/seven? posters.

You can pretend that they don't if you like (for the reasons I've explained above) but that doesn't change the fact that it happens.

I'm talking about the islamophobic stuff which leads to posters starting incorrect threads about boys names to try and enforce a myth that muslims are taking over.

Then all the right wing cronies jump in to further these myths and lies. People like dsr actually. Interesting that he doesn't like this thread.

So why encourage them to post by starting threads like this?

I cant abide racists sexists and plenty of other ists, And for that reason I ignore them and I certainly wouldn't go about encouraging them to debate with me by starting threads like this one.

If there are racist posts on other threads, then it's probably better to talk about them on other threads. There's already a thread about naming of children and the racist connotations; starting another thread about children's names just to complain that no-one has made racist comments about girls' names seems a bit unnecessary to me.

What, by the way, is "borderline racist"? Something that's not racist, or something that's racist but not (in your view) very bad racist?

And that's all I'm doing. Glad someone can see that.

And to answer RocketLawnChair, these people need calling out as and when it happens.

Just imagine a visiting fan, or maybe even a journalist stumbling across this site and seeing the racist nonsense which is allowed to fester on here.

As and when it happens? You've created a completely new thread, if you have come across something racist this morning on one of the threads surely best to deal with it on that particular thread and report it to the mods, Not start another thread so they can spread their infestation and bile further. You are making it harder for the mods not easier.

Fairly obvious I'd have thought, but it does depend on how bigoted or prejudiced you are.

To me, a lot of stuff that gets posted on here is racist, but if everyone who thought it was racist stopped posting because of it, then this board would be like the old board is now. Basically claret and blue stormfront.

I thought it had become a boring dumping ground for recycled left wing drivel, plastic outrage and perpetual offence over non-issues.

I quite like it for it's footy talk, informal chit chat and endless angling opportunities.

Is there a separate list for infants that are not born binary and therefore not willing to go on a list with the word "girl" in it, or can they opt out and change the stats at a later date?

Basically some folk think that if you gave your child a popular name from that list it could/is common and chavy.

I think people like unique names for their children.

These things go in circles.

I'd rather hear of a common sensible name for a child like Isabelle or Lucy , rather than Porsche or Apple-Fig-Star for instance.
