I would go:

Pope
Lowton Tarks Mee Taylor
Iceland Dufour Cork Nickidoodoo
Barnes
Vokes

But I'm not Dyche, so I would be wrong.

I'd drop Hendrick though - but that should be the team.

If we were going with that midfield then I would want Vokes up top to get on the end of the crosses rather than Barnes ( as excellent as he has been). But it does look good.

Would possibly also have Arfield in the number 10 spot and drop Westwood thus keeping the Defour - Cork partnership together.

There's a very good reason why we've never started a game with the Cork Westwood Defour midfield, and given Dyche politely rejected the idea this week, I'm willing to bet that won't happen this weekend either.

With particular regard to the idea of Defour playing in the more advanced role where he's inevitably less involved in the game- bizarre in itself to play him somewhere he'll get the ball less, but given the main complaint about Hendrick is hes not great at holding the ball with his back to goal, why on earth does anyone think it's worth giving Defour that job? We tried it once at Leicester last season, got tubbed 3-0 and hastily canned the experiment.

Pope
Lowton Tarky Mee Taylor
Defour Cork
JBG Arfield Nkoudou
Vokes

Vokes will be great up front against Man U if he has JBG and Nkoudou supporting him.

Bardsley and Hendrick out for me. I'd have Arfield in Hendrick role but I'm not sure Dyche will do that. Hendrick is becoming the new Boyd where it doesn't seem to matter how badly he plays he starts.

Or alternatively, like Boyd he starts because the manager thinks/knows he's offering a lot more than the fans do.

The idea the manager is wrong in his opinion these players are contributing, or alternatively picks them out of favouritism whilst knowing it's to the detriment of the team, is a little bit bonkers.

I'd definitely be starting GK from what I saw last week.

Barnes lone striker for this one.

Have to play football against these. At home last season they had fellaini dominating the lot in the air. Hendrick is key.

Dyche will definitely play Jeff regardless of the ineptitude of his recent performances. Saying that (I didn`t see it myself but many on here say they did) Hendrick nullified Matic`s influence on the game at Old Trafford.

It`ll be..

Pope

LOWTON Tarkowski Mee Taylor (very good last week)

Gudmundsson Cork (honestly think he needs resting) Defour ARFIELD

Hendrick

Barnes

Would like to see Arfield back behind the striker instead of Hendrick.
But I know less than 0.00001% of what Sir Sean knows. So I'll leave it to him.

Cork will get a rest next weekend.

Seeing as he's probably our 2nd best performer this season, he can stay in the team for me.
