TBF we came off the match yesterday and said Watford look to be in real trouble. They're on a very poor run and not even playing well.

That said they really deserve to go down now.

I agree. It's disgraceful how they conduct their business. Serve them right if it goes pear shaped and they disappear into the wilderness.

We are going to have to put a collective arm around KRBFC's shoulder, in what will be an incredibly difficult time for him.

He must be furious. He's been sacked because they made a good start which was always going to be impossible/difficult to sustain.

Watford apparently blaming Everton for their 'unwarranted' approach earlier this season and that their fortunes have dipped since then.

I think he always wished he'd gone to Everton, that was part of the problem!

I'd expect Mark Hughes to be back in work soon.

Wouldn't surprise me if Silva ended up at Southampton by the end of the month.

He should go back to hull to see how good he is .

I thought Watford's policy was not to sack the head coach/manager during the season.

Supposedly they've set up a system that means they can give the manager a full season without disruption.

Possibly why they're trying to blame Everton for the disruption rather than admitting that their strategy isn't all it's supposed to be.

Horribe treatment from Watford. Stop him from going to a big dream job and then sack him a month later.

BBC footie reporter Ian Dennis saying the Everton affair lingered long in the Watford boardroom,
saying that Silva never really publicly killed his apparent interest in the Goodison job, comparing
that with SD and his "getting on with the job" replies to the media when asked about Everton.

So reading between the lines, it seems the Watford board was just waiting for a chance like
their current dip in form. And then, as they're noted for, the elbow was swiftly deployed.

He'd become a right sulky two hat anyway, so f**k him.

Correct decision by Watford in this instance.

He became all sulky after Watford rightly blocked his move to Everton, so soon after giving him the job.

If you read the BBC article it doesn't look like Silva had a say in Gray's purchase.
