1 40 I think the 2 favs look strong in this as the main dangers have poor form
I have backed both favs....NATIVE ROBIN and BRAMBLE BROOK....combined odds at current prices make this bet slightly odds on but I feel they could be shorter later.

1 55 backed VOILA PARK at 4/1 and MR POTTER at 6/1....both notebook horses who have ideal conditions.

2 10 I think theos charm is a vulnerable fav with a record of 0/12 since winning novice events....trainer has a poor record lately with his hurdlers....so will oppose with a bet on something else or a lay depending on how the market goes.

2 25 STOSUR 7/2....I have backed this one partly because of the jockey ROSSA RYAN....he has ridden 6 times for the yard with 3 wins....all 3 horses at 10/1 or less won and he has 2 mounts for Kellaway today.....this horse can front run so my angle has been to take the 4.9 on betfair and try to lay in running for a free bet....probably around 2.2.

2 55 TOPMEUP 6/1 is another ROSSA RYAN /KELLAWAY COMBO but has also made my notebook a couple of times....for that reason this would be the main bet today.

3 20 the fav here DINARIA DES OBEAUX has ran some remarkable races for a horse so young....drops in class today and should take an awful lot of beating given a clear round....only even money so wont be having a big bet.

3 55 GEORGE DRYDEN 11/4 has a decent claimer riding today and takes a drop in class....a stiff 5 furlongs is ideal for this one.

4 20 VENITIEN DE MAI 9/2 looks solid each way....ran 2nd fav gilgamboa close last time and although 1lb worse off, the extra distance looks ideal....sire NETWORK in last 2 years has ran on heavy 16 times with 7 wins and 3 places.....jockey riding for yard has had 16 mounts with 6 wins and 4 places....the fav in the race foxrock will need to be very fit after almost 10 months off.

4 30 FAREEQ 5/1....same trainer/jockey as george dryden and a notebook horse as well....has conditions to suit....

expecting some big runs from that lot.

cheers dog
cashed out on the golf when fleetwood went to 1.22....not sure if the wind got up more during round but mac and fisher were at their best early for sure.....pieters needs to practice putting....fantastic back 9 by fleetwood.....tonight I have taken some 11 for piercy as he handled course under the worst conditions yesterday....also taken some 23 for Murray who shot 7 under on the course.

Fleetwood putted very well today on the back 9 ... nice performance in the windier conditions
Actually, I also took Grayson Murray at 23... Rahm the obvious fave but Murray i backed a few times last season as I think he has the talent and mindset and a large degree of self belief.... he got a PGA breakthrough win last season in the Barbasol (on the same week as The Open so not a high value win)... more to come from him I would say
