Very good news.
Not just a bit more quality, but in a position we need it.
Sometimes you need to pinch yourself to see if this is all really happening.
Welcome to the Turf Moor family Aaron

Any details on contract length? 2 and a half years would be ideal for all parties I'd have thought.

Not seen any reference to a contract length - I'd made the decision that it was going to be until end of 2019/20 and had to quickly remove it from the article.

Advice from Keano

Lennon said: “I spoke to Keano a few times. He had nothing but good words to say about the club and he wished me well. He’s a great lad and a top player. I played with him for a little while and he’s a top player, who’s going to go a long way in the game."

Let's hope we don't have to sit Wood in the stand to get on the end of his crosses.

I wish the lad a warm welcome.

It's funny I hadn't remembered he'd started for England in a World Cup, never mind made 21 caps. Mind you there wasn't much memorable under Capello's turgid reign.

I guess he does have something of an enigmatic quality - one of those players who perhaps has to be playing for you on a regular basis to see the quality he brings. He certainly seems well liked and appreciated from fans of his former clubs. Looking forward to seeing him in a Burnley shirt and hopes he gets a game.

I think this signing has given everyone a real buzz. So close to getting him in August too but eventually over the line.

Glad we missed out to be honest. Gave big chances to Brady and JBG which they took with both hands, both needed games.

Much needed now though.

It really is. We've made some really good signings in the past couple of years, no doubt about that, players such as Defour and Brady, but this one almost seems at another level, certainly bringing to the squad strengths and attributes that we don't have.

Not often a signing gets me over excited but this one has.

its another sign of how we're evolving slowly as a team. having players with pace like nkoudou and lennon gives us another dimension, we truly can change things now rather than plan b just being sticking an extra pole up front and launching it.

we'll be less easy to defend against as teams won't be able to play such a high line against us.

really exciting times.

I'm VERY happy with this signing. Lots of our other signings have been Championship players who are looking to make a step up with us (Hendrick, Wood, etc.) or some Premier League players who were well past their best (Reid, Taylor). This is truly in the area of signing a proven Premier League player - a sign that we are moving in the right direction.

He's always been an exciting player to watch and our wingers seem to lack a little bit of "wing wizardry" in getting past players which perhaps he and Nkoudou can add to the squad.

Good news.

That's absolutely spot on - a proven Premier League player compared to the Wood, Hendrick and even, to an extent, Brady signings.

A totally constant, positive response from Everton fans, towards Aaron Lennon. Well done them. Not many get that.
