It's looking like we are going to get beaten unfortunately. 90 need from 20 overs.

It is, 6 down and two new men in, just under 5 an over needed

Thought Curran's on the boundary was better. Good reactions and it stuck though.

Very much game on now.

Ball can't finish his spell.
Root might have to step in.

Well that's a problem if the game goes to the last few overs. who is there who can bowl two overs and keep the runs down?

Willey one over left, Curran two and Ball (or his replacement) two.

My mistake Root was warming up but Ball must have recovered sufficiently.

Good shot that from Zampa when they only needed 24 from 22 balls.

Doesn't look like it'll go into the last over.
Either a wicket or the runs will get knocked off.

Five for Curren, plus two dropped catches from Bairstow off his bowling. Outstanding performance.

The England team held their nerve pretty well there after getting a score that was a bit below par & having a mainline bowler who had to dig deep just to get through his overs.
I was really impressed by Tom Curran's performance with the pressure right up. Been watching him regularly down the Oval for a couple of years & he's developed really well - especially this last year. A good reflection on his coaches and the people around him (as well as his own hard work and confidence).
I always have to chuckle when his name goes up on the scoreboard though - Currant T. I'm hoping Surrey sign up an Alan Sultan and they get to bat together.

There's an Iranian cleric calleed Ebrahim Raisi. Maybe he has a relative called Nish, (or something similar), that Surrey could sign to complete the trio of sweet dried fruits.
