2 40 SNAPDRAGON FIR 11/4....sired by a bad sire called getaway...under tomorrows conditions the sire is 0/20 so try and be against this one....either with a bet or lay this if price is short.....the race last time was full of poor stallions and trainers out of form etc.

2 55 puppet warrior 6/4 IS 2ND FAV....there is an odds on fav if thats your thing but I prefer the lay....trainer out of form ....form is iffy and this likes being 2nd.

3 10 perfect pirate 10/30.....trainer no wins since 20 dec which is 34 runners....a couple of fancied ones against him.
so thats the 3 horses I dont like

3 55 FRANK N FAIR ...10/30 bet....loves the course and distance and ground...has been tried over further but seems to like this trip best....the trainer and jockey combo is 4 wins and 3 places from 11.

4 50 MALAYSIAN BOLEH 14/1....FRANGARRY 16/1.
the track bias right now is favouring stalls 2 to 6 in 6f handicaps.....last 6 races with 10 runners or more have been won by stalls 2....6....4....6....2 and fav only 3 horses placed from 7 or above with those being stall 9 twice and stall 10....( these are notebook horses I am waiting to run )
the 2 named seem to be best equipped to run well......I have staked it so that 1 place returns all my total stakes.
this race is an amateur ace and what can happen is that the inexperienced riders go off too quick and fade late....if this happens then the higher numbers could come through late.....that said I am still happy with both bets.

5 25 EL TORITO 7/1 ew is a notebook horse who has the right conditions.....it is the 2nd division of the 4 50 so everything written above applies...take the prices tonight...14/1...16/1 and 7/1 ( at least ) available....will update later wolves races either tonight or before 5 45 tomorrow....utc.

MURDANOVA 11/4 has made my notebook several times.....he offers little value at the price but want to at least double my money on the race if he wins.

ARLECCHINOS LEAP 16/1 ew 1234 does offer some value...another multiple entry into my notebook....strictly speaking draw 8 is wide enough as recently the 7f handicaps at the course with 10 runners or more have been drawn....1...1...3...3...1....7...7...3...1...but any none runners drawn low will help this and he is nicely handicapped.

Snapdragon Fire is the likely favourite from a stable in form and that do well, with runners here .. know Happy thinks Getaway is a "bad sire " but Rich Ricci rates Getabird his Cheltenham banker and has had some impressive recent bumper and point to point winners many of which have been sold for six figure sums . You'd think he was the best thing ever if you had one of his to sell !! Watch out for Getaway Trump( shares in the horse still available at £59 !! blatent plug) Anyway enough of the hard sell !!

ALL IS GOOD . Trading at at 4.1 .. another one from Irish point to points . Was fancied to beat Talkischeap ( rated 133 over hurdles ) at Lisbeg and more recently ran well in a big field handicap at Warwick .. stable in form

JAUNE ET BLEUE . Trading at 28.0 .. decent horse in France , made his debut over here at Cheltenham in a grade win win by Limini , then not seen out for nearly 2 years till starting joint fav for a race at Wincanton in January . And finished last . One to note in the betting and stable having winners .

ANOTHER VENTURE .. trading at 4.5 .. probably has more improvement in him then most .. likes to lead which is no bad thing here and will enjoy the testing conditions. Upped 5 lbs for his win but lightiy raced over fences .

LE COUER NET .. trading at 4.1 .. was running a good race when unseating on chase debut .. hasn't had that many chances and could be the one horse with improvement in him . Stable 4 winners from last 8 runners

BALLYHEIGUE BAY . Trading at 17.00 .. was rated much higher, stable in form and ran a decent race prior to his fall

AMBITIOUS BOY... Trading at 17.0 . Trainer jockey combination do well and this horse was rated on the high 70s in the distant past now racing off 45

MR POTTER .. Trading at 4.7. Decent amateur on board . Dropped in trio and consistant , decent draw .

Ordinary form in maidens. Could well try to make all and be difficult to pas as so many of the stables horses are

SMUGGLERS CREEK. Trading at 8.0.. stable 3 winners from last 5 runners . Winner at Dundalk , backed into fav when finishing 5th here on uk debut , then upped in class and ran far to free at Newcastle .. dropped back to C5 and handicapper dropped him 2lbs . Interesting runner .

Jaune et Bleue is very well thought of by her trainer .. she's a lovely mare and won a chase at Pau as a 4yo and her half sister won a listed hurdle at Auteuil last November .. she's been dissapointing so far but sure she win win a little race somewhere .. she's a lovely horse when you see her in the flesh . One to remember

Hereford 16-10 ARTHUR MAC .. won despite being by by that " bad sire " Getaway .. who also had a PTP winner at Tyrella on Saturday ..and The mighty Getabird , plus Alighted and Guided by You and All Currencues in the last couple of weeks . On ground ranging from yielding .. soft and heavy .. and now here on decent ground .

Just a quick heads up re Happys selection El Torito .. just checked my messages .. And apparently the horse was gelded last year and took a long time to get over the operation , they really expected him to win today .. blinkers refitted and ridden more positively . Well backed and a big disappointment to connections .. they do think that is a better horse on turf ( most of his runs after his op were on unsuitable ground )..

So maybe a small race awaits him in the summer, if his handicap mark continues to drop . Jim Boyle is a shrewd trainer
