That performance and result is, for me, one of the best in our history considering the opposition. That 2nd half was incredible. Immensely proud.

All results that render at least a point in our current injury crisis time is very good news.

I'll take a point against any side in the top 6. They're the best 6 by some distance.

Not saying we haven't! That's just a personal favourite for me when you consider how strong the opposition are and how many key players we're missing.

Agree completely. We were outsanding the. Best we have played against City in my lifetime. Even more remarkable given how well they have played this season.

We didnt show them any respect (in a good way), down the wings we had exactly what we have missed for a long time. Lennon was superb going forwards and backwards.

Taylors best game.
Longs best game.
Barnes and Vokes were immense together.
Ben Mee was Ben Mee.

Did Pope have much to do?

Would have been easily the best if their keeper hadn't got a hand
to Lennon's shot.
Great times to be a Claret.

Did you see Pep today? He was ready to attack Sterling when he came off. Hilarious.

I've said a number of times this season that anyone who walks away from a match against City with less than a four goal deficit can feel they have done a good day's work.

Tremendous uplifting result that should give everyone some confidence that we can compile a good points haul from the last 12 games.

I said the same thing about 5 mins after full time. Talk about staying in the game. A masterclass in determination and clear thinking. Brilliant. Love it!

Fantastic team performance against a top quality side.

For 20 mins of the 2nd half we couldn't get the ball out of our penalty area never mind our half of the pitch.

We hung in there and after Sterlings missed sitter we suddenly came to life and had the best team in the league on the back foot and finished the stronger side.

Even up to our equaliser I was enjoying every minute of that game. Citeh are a fabulous team and a complete joy to watch. But we were immense and always in the game. We got what we deserved for a tenacious and thoroughly accomplished performance. Feeling euphoric.

Not to go all Hollywood on this but iI said at full time its just like a Rocky Movie, they kept hitting and were extravagantly better than us, but we kept getting up and hitting back and got our just deserves
