Dyche to Chelsea
I don't for one minute think he would be considered but do you think he would do a good a job?

Re: Dyche to Chelsea
He wouldn't last long, the players have managed to get better, more experienced title winning managers fired.
Player power rules supreme at Chelsea.

Re: Dyche to Chelsea
I dont buy into that theory sid.
Same players which got Jose out still there.
Year 1. Jose takes over, they work hard easily win title
Year 2. Cant be arsed, lets get him sacked
Year 3. Conte takes over, they work hard easily win title
Year 4. Cant be arsed, lets get him sacked
It wouldnt make sense
Jose lost it on the Hazard incident. Arguably their best player goes down, nobody knows how aerious and he didnt want him treated to save a minute of stopage time.
Chelsea have changed. No longer is Abramovich willing to endlessly pour money in. It looks as though he’s the main man, he has the final word on all incomings/out goings.

I think he would do a very good job, problem is if there's a clash of personalities. No matter how well he would do, he'd still get fired.

Re: Dyche to Chelsea
Sky Bet currently have him as the shortest odds for any English manager to go to Chelsea. Brendan Rodgers (NI) is shorter odds as are a whole host of foreign managers.
I can't imagine Sean Dyche and Chelsea being a good fit.

Yes there has been a change in their transfer dealings.Dyched wrote:I dont buy into that theory sid.

However it's widely accepted that the Players, or a player, is downing tools when they don't want to play for the manager anymore.
It's cheaper to fire the manager then it is to fire the players.
Look at Mahrez.
If I told my boss my head wasn't in the right state to attend work so I won't be in, because I was unsuccessful in my application for McLaren do you think I'd still have a job?

Re: Dyche to Chelsea
He's far too intelligent to want this job.
Manchester has the title sown up for the coming years.
Although there would be a good payoff coming.

Problem is no worms under the pitch itself @ Chelski, plenty of worms in the dressing room

Re: Dyche to Chelsea
I think he would do a great job, given the time, but we all know, nobody gets the time at Chelsea.
A joke of a club considering their riches.
I hope when Conte does go he screws them for all that he can.

I dont think they are downing tools. They have lost 3 massive players this year. Replaced them with players I’m not sure Conte actually wanted.
Re: Dyche to Chelsea
The list of possible managers on Sky Bet is amazing. No englishman in the top 20. All kinds of random names.

Re: Dyche to Chelsea
From what I understand, Mr Dyche has a say in everything that goes on at Turf Moor, from the signing of players to the decor in the new training complex... It would be hard for him to revert back to purely a Coaching role..Dyched wrote:I dont think they are downing tools. They have lost 3 massive players this year. Abramovich: Here you are Sean, four shiny new players for you who I have picked, 2 wingers, one left midfielder and a Goalkeeper
Dyche: But Mr Chairman, we needed a right back, a central defender, a right sided midfielder and a target man... These four you've gone for... the first one's brother is his agent & angles for a move every time he wants a new Ferrari, the left winger owe's £600k to the Italian Mafia over a failed restaurant in Milan, the right winger's injured that often, the kids at " Great Ormond Street " visited him at Christmas, and the Goalkeeper was diagnosed as a " Borderline psychopath " in our psychometric testing !!
Abramovich: Never mind, carry on !
Can't see it, somehow !!
