Could Rochdale cause an upset here ?
Tottenham was minutes away from going out to Newport in the last round.

I fear 'Dale may have given up an advantage by having the pitch renewed.

Wouldnt be surprised if Spurs give them the money to get it done ?

My sister and nephews have gone on the Leeds - Bristol City game (birthday party for one of their friends), so I think I'll watch that when they kick off.
I'd like Rochdale to win. I remember going to Spotland for a trial about 92 years ago (or so it feels).

Just found out the draw for quarter finals has already been made - there was still 2 games to kick off

I listened to the chairman on Friday and it was paid for 100% by Rochdale, he clarified that point because of rumours.

And surprisingly managed to keep Spurs, Chelsea, United and City apart. Strangely they managed to do exactly the same thing in the league cup quarter finals as well.

Get a replay and they've got their dosh for the pitch back.
Big ask, mind.

I had to laugh at your 92 years ago because I know that feeling --I had a trial there 53 years ago and the pitch was none too clever in those days either.

Fantastic overplaying by Spuds in the box and then missing the goal

Watching Trippier. Love to watch him. He's one of my favourite players.
Spurs obviously more class and are better but Rochdale have had a couple of good chances.

They'll just bring Alli on to fall over in the box if they need a goal.

Always had a soft spot for the Dale. Growing up in Littleborough used to go and watch them in the days of Reg Jenkins and Tony Buck. Never thought I would see them beat us with 9 men!! Really hope they can hold on.

Alli is turning into the next Vardy. He’s clever at ensuring that there is contact, and as we all know contact in the box is now universally accepted as a penalty.
He’s a cheating turd. Is there a more dislikeable player in the Premier League?

Dele alli really really is a stain on football. His acrobatics have, once again, robbed a team. I genuinely wouldn't have light bulb head near our club.

There was no way Madley was going to miss that chance. He knows he' a premier league referee and he referees for his team. He's been giving them every free kick they asked for. Rochdale players can fall over after contact and it's play on. No problems that way for Spurs.

Fxxxxxg Alli is a disgrace to football. He should 've excluded from football until he says he has learned. Spurs shouldforfeirmt their place in the cup. The worst of all cheating. **** of the game.
