**Car help needed** Radio code

Hi, I know this forum solves everything, so I thought I'd try with this issue I have.
I replaced the battery on my car last week, but since replacing it I have no sat nav, parking camera or radio etc working.
I'm useless with cars, but it's asking for a radio code.
I've checked the log book and all the users guide, but the page where the info is meant to be it isn't filled in.
I've tried a auto electricians ( Baz ) near ATS on advice from a friend but he couldn't do Nissan's.
Anyone know of any local chaps that could do it?
I'd rather give my trade to a local business.
( and also Nissan will probably require a kidney off me, and a 2nd mortgage

)

If it's the original radio, and it's not to old. Speak to a local dealer. Should have it on record.
If not learn to whistle.

Its a long shot, however i had the same issue with my Renault and found an app that generated the code. Think some of the nissans use renault radios etc.
If you have an android phone (ie not an apple phone) then go to the play store, search "renault radio code" and i downloaded the one with the yellow logo.
Just requires you getting the radio out, might require a couple long thin sticks but youtube it.

Get some radio keys from Halfords and pop the radio out, see if the code is on the casing.
It's also worth checking the vehicle.owners manual to see if it's in there.
You can find companies who'll unlock it permanently for a fee.
Failing that you'll probably need to ask Nissan, but they'll need vehicle details, proof of ownership and possibly details from the radio itself.

Nissan are a nightmare to get codes for. As stated, Renault you can get from a free app and ford codes are readily available for free. There is a topic on the Martin Lewis money saving expert forum that may be able to help providing you have the serial number from the side of the unit

If you know what dealer sold it then they store the codes for a certain amount of time.My Mother just had the same problem and the dealer found it, no charge.

Cheers people
Rang Nissan, and they are kind enough to do it for me, it will only need me to call down next week, doesn't take long.
Only £50, and I can make a note of the code and pop it in the manual for next time.
I got my Renault done at a specialists and was only £15 in his hand, but seems Nissan make it purposely difficult.
Oh well.

Google your car and radio type - there will be forums that offer good advice such as...

Oh don't worry I'll use up all 3 attempts as I pull into Nissan.
0000
1234
1882
However it might be more than 4 digits...

What's radio type mean, make?
It's nothing special, just the build in factory fitted one with sat nav, blue tooth, cd player, reverse camera etc.
It's all on 1 touch screen.

Did you buy it from a Nissan dealer
If so unless second hand.
Should it have been included in the paper work.

Macca
give these guys a call.
http://www.manchester-car-audio.co.uk/
Same issue different car - sorted it for free over the phone (but I have used them before for car audio fits etc in the past several times).
They gave me info how to "factory reset" so that I could reset the code to a new one.
Yes it wipes your sat nav memory, radio memory etc but that's no hardship. (that's probably going to happen anyway unless there is a record of the inital code).
Worth a call - good guys.
They are in Levenshulme - so probably not local. They'd probably help you over the phone. They will check that the car is yours first etc. so have your reg doc handy. If they say they can help maybe offer a token payment? If they can they'll help.

Tried them. , they couldn't do it either, but rang a colleague to check if the could, but sadly not.
Very helpful chap, but still no joy
