Is my woman broken?

Post by starting_11 » Sun Feb 25, 2018 9:08 pm

I can ask her a simple yes or no answer and be greeted by at least 300 words.

After all, why say a sentence when a chapter will do??

Is this the usual?

Most answer a question that you havent asked with another question..

'What we having for tea?'
'What do you mean Burnley are playing in London next weekend?'

Please Gentlemen, no sexist, negative comments. Please show that followers of the Clarets are modern, metrosexuals who support all forms of LDGTX and would never stoop to Bernard Mannings type of sexist humour.

I think most women would take it as a compliment to be told they were a different breed from men! ;)

Been scientifically proven* that ultra violet light reflecting off a long white dress triggers a chemical imbalance in the female brain.
The resulting symptoms present as megalomania, an inability to shut the f**k up and a tendency to shout the word 'NOTHING' if you enquire about her general well being and disposition.

[* Scientists may not have actually taken part in the study.]

Folk who take to internet messageboards to moan about their missus usually only ever got married in the first place to prove to their mates (and perhaps themselves) that they aren't gay.

If you’ve got a good woman, cherish her. Start every day with the question “what can I do to make today special for her?”

Watch her while she sleeps and wonder how you got so lucky.
When she wakes, greet her with a smile.

So many men lose their woman through stupidity, boredom or sadly illness. If that happens, you will spend the rest of your life replaying the happy days.

The secret to a successful relationship is don’t stop giving. Giving as in caring not presents. Giving in telling her she looks fabulous when she feels down.

It’s not easy.

There’s not a day go by when I don’t wish I could reach out and stroke her soft cheek or run my hand through her soft hair.

To be honest, my use of the word 'missus' inferred a gay bloke (the OP) pretending to be straight.

My Mrs has started coming to away games with me, the questions she asks are quite brilliant.

“What are those men at the side doing?” (The Subs).

“Does Sean Dyche not get a seat?”

I hope she doesn’t ask about offside because even I don’t understand it anymore.

I once took my missus to an away game. Millwall versus Burnley on Valentines Day. I don't know what stunned her more, Rocky screeching in her ear or being penned in for an hour after the game!!

She has never asked to come again.

I used to argue every single point. Every one. Without exception. Only to have to do it again and again. Now I just concede. Easier allround.

I brought my missus up from Cornwall for the Blackburn home game in the championship a few years ago.....not sure if it was the cold weather or the hostility etc and those barriers making it look like a war zone that put her off :)

I believe it takes real talent to give a 600 word answer to a simple question, but occasionally change tactics to a withering look and no words. :)
