playing Old trafford, would love to see them just once, but probably too expensive for me, can't see there being many more tours along the way.

There's better versions than the one I chose of Honky tonk women, but I love that song.

Did have a look at tickets here but its the night before I'm due to go to a festival which would cost less combined than the Stones ticket.

I'll stick to a tribute band tbh.

Pre sale was a joke. I got my code to get tickets via email 2 hours after it started and by that time only the most expensive were left.

cheapest here are 3000kc, which works out about 100 quid, give or take. Sorry they arent worth that. That's a hundred beers is that

I saw them at the Isle of Wight festival in 2007 and they were brilliant. I thought that might be the last chance I'd have to see them but here we are 11 years later and they're going back on the road again!! They must have serious batteries to keep going like they do!

Just bought 8 tickets at Old Trafford. Booking fee per ticket was £51! And we're in the top tier! But never seen them and surely this will be the last time they tour.

Saw em a few times late 80’s early mid 90s Sheffield and Mk bowl I think , and v good both times ,and still had that rock chilled vibe when playing .Though can only imagine the hideous corporate bilge which will both be the crowd and the “show” this time around .

Great band though and fine musicians ,paint it black an all time fav

First time I saw them was in 1972 in Leeds and last time was 1990 at Wembley with a few more in between.

Brilliant.

I saw the Rolling Stones back in 1982 at Roundhay Park in Leeds.

At the time I considered them the old men of rock as they'd been going 20 years - they weren't even half way through!

Tickets were about £10.00 and there were 2 support acts (J. Geils Band & Joe Jackson). Even allowing for 36 years of inflation the tickets seem a lot more expensive now. Back then though there was no facility for people to snap up tickets off the internet - when I got my tickets I had to go down to Birmingham Odeon box office and queue up.

They were good though!

Thanks for this thread - I'm having a Rolling Stones day.

I know it's only rock n'roll but I like it.

I'm not the hugest Stones fan (I only have a few of their albums (Let it Bleed is my favourite)) but I like a fair bit of their music & admire their will to "keep on truckin' "& put on a show.
I saw a fair few top bands mid 60s-mid 70s but missed The Stones. I did catch them at Wembley Stadium on the Urban Jungle tour in 1990 (as a freebie)- an excellent show it was but I wouldnt go to see then now as the cost is far too much.
I go to 20-30 gigs a year and regard £30 as the absolute max I'll pay, I mostly see good (not well known) acts for £8-£15 at small venues. That lot in a year probably costs less than one ticket for one show on this tour.

Not really my bag, but saw them at Hampden Park @ 1991/2ish. Have to say they were superb. I hope they all make it through to the gig! Enjoy folks.

Just short of £195 each but we reasoned that if we had gone to see them in London, on top of the ticket price (£100ish) it would have cost each of us an additional £150 or so to cover travel, food and overnight accommodation.

First time and only time I saw them was in Bradford in 1964, when they were the bottom of the bill in a show headed by the Everly Bros and Little Richard. They were crap to be honest, though I believe they have improved since then.

Wonder if many will do Prague instead of UK

Tickets looked circa 100 quid and beer and hotels are cheap :)

I wouldn’t pay £195 to see anyone.

It’s bad enough parting with £30 for an away ticket.

Think I’ll just open the front window and listen to them - save myself a few bob. Might be a World Cup game on at the same time so can watch that too.

Got pre sale tickets via Ents24 which gets a five star rating on Trust Pilot. Slightly unnerved by then being taken to a subsidiary site where I bought two tickets. Did a bit of research after the purchase and the subsidiary only gets the one star rating  .
Thankfully I paid by Credit Card (not debit) but much prefer to see the band than wade through a claim under the Credit Consumer Act!!

Just got two for Old Trafford. My dad has always wanted to see this and I never thought we would have a chance. Expensive but worth it for him to tick one off his bucket list!

The ticket prices arent too bad really, but the booking fees are a joke. £30 in booking fees for something I booked myself!

Oh well, sure it will be worth it!

I was at the '82 Roundhay gig. No tickets so we stood outside the fence. Then some Angels arrived and battered the fence down, it would have been rude not to follow them in..
