Since leaving us he has failed miserably at every club he has managed
And at every club it has been a downwards step so where does the Lying Scotsman go now?

Coyle gone at Ross County
Ross County Football Club would like to announce that First Team Manager, Owen Coyle, has resigned from his post. He and Assistant Manager, Sandy Stewart, have left the club with immediate effect.
Owen Coyle said: “Myself and the Chairman had a chat on Monday and after some reflective thought I felt for the good of Ross County - and the challenging situation with my family being in England - it was in everyone’s best interests for me to offer my resignation, which the Chairman duly accepted.”
Speaking about Coyle's resignation, Chairman, Roy MacGregor, said: “We thank Owen and Sandy for their time at Ross County Football Club and wish them well for the future.”
The Club will be making no further comment at this time.

Not when you consider the circumstances of his departure.
Why do you think he's referred to as the Lying Scotsman?

I do wonder, if he was really honest with himself if he would ever hold his hands up and say "I should never have left Burnley. On reflection, perhaps he has, secretly to himself of course.

Doesnt want any more relegations on his cv.
Out of interest how many has he had and how many has he avoided by either getting booted or resigning ?

You would like to think so, beddie, but maybe, with all the departures and pay offs frombeddie wrote:I do wonder, if he was really honest with himself if he would ever hold his hands up and say "I should never have left Burnley. On reflection, perhaps he has, secretly to himself of course.
his various clubs since us, he's likely earned much more than he would had he stayed.
Cos that seems to be all he's interested in.

He's so failed, the BBC will consider taking him up as a pundit now.
Seriously... get a qualification and move on in life sunshine, the world doesn't owe you a living in the football world (Although successive chairmen have been so stupid, why WOULDN'T he think that?)

Re: Coyle gone at Ross County
I have completely forgiven him now.
It's taken a lot to get over what he did to us, but our respective fortunes since he left mean that he did his best work at turf moor. I couldn't of envisaged our journey being any better since the day he was appointed

How quick do you think the Chairman accepted that resignation?

Well, he's definitely not going to Stanley. They're doing too well at the moment. Strong possibility that they'll be scheduled against the Horse Botherers next year. Wouldn't THAT be something?

I would be tempted to drop Sandy Stewart, as the partnership obviously does'nt work, and it must be worth trying other options, and perhaps Stewart could be better off working with a new face, since leaving Burnley things have been bleak.
