Gary Aspden has the new Adidas Spezial collection out and has included the Adidas Padiham in there ...... a few mates were after a pair until they noticed this little addition.
The date ba$tards won the league and the year they were founded is printed on the inside of them!

Does this mean that PNE will do the same thing for the year that they were "The Invincibles"?

Gary Aspden. Hardest job in the world. Change colour of the shoe, change colour of the stripes. Hey presto!

Aspden is a bullshitting little ******.
That video he did for CP Company was joke, connecting football lads and the acid house rave scene.
He wasn’t even into football, he was in a break dancing crew that performed in town centres on match days.
Can’t stand the bloke and boycotting both CP Company and Adidas until he’s gone.

Some bloke who grew up in Darwen is the prime person responsible for teenagers insisting on spending a mortgage on footwear when normal shoes would do...
Oh and he’s put some meaningless numbers inside some of his sh!t products

I'd say more mid life crisis types looking for nostalgia !

Is Gary a mate of the ba****ds fan that was too 'friendly' with a horse?

Met him a few years back. Really thinks he’s Somert. I dont mind brands reissuing old stuff like Levis Vintage Clothing do. But he’s doing for self gain and all the wrong reasons.

He's made a bit of a chunt of himself there really. You're fifty mate, the corporate bods at adidas won't be massively impressed at alienating half the intended customer base to impress a couple of bellsmashes in the Brownhill.

Blackburn Rovers. One of only a handful of clubs to have their name engraved on the premier league trophy.
The only one to be relegated from it.
TWICE.
Now they're back to their natural position.
Blackburn Rovers- it's just like Jack Walkers money never happened......

So these come with the added bonus of a reference to rovers rubbing against my sweaty cheesy clops all day long?

Interesting to hear peoples views on Gary Aspden. I worked buying menswear for a brief period a few years back and found it tough going as it's incredibly subjective and open to interpretation, whereas I'm more of a facts based person. Interestingly though, I also found that most of the senior people were often complete tools who think they're changing the world, so it comes as no surprise to hear about this guy.

I think i'll be giving these ones a miss to be honest, now if they had the date Venkys bought the club on the inside i'd probably part with the £85.
