The Enlightenment is a Western discovery. Simple put it is 'having a sense of perspective.' Alberti 'discovered it' in 1435. Whatever anyone else's concept of 'seeking Enlightenment,' I don't know. One thing I try and maintain is a 'sense of perspective.' Nothing more. I cannot claim anything more. it's what's known as 'common sense.'
