High mark for control and authority because he dealt very well with the second half situations. Should he have sent off Mark Noble and Ashley Barnes? I don’t know but pleased he didn’t. Sensible decision too not to bother with stoppage time and just wait for the ball to go out over by the tunnel.

He let some shocking tackles - both ways - go in the first half but fair play to him he dealt with all the shenanigans in the second half well. They never put the board up for the injury time at the end of the match and he sensibly stopped it when the ball was near (or as near as it could be!) to the tunnel.

A - 19 generally alright apart from a couple of fouls.
B - 19 fairly consistent.
C - 21 looked like he was in the right place most of the time.
D -25 difficult atmosphere and absolutely spot on not to have much added time.
Me and those around me expected 5-6 mins due to the aggro and we were hoping it wouldn't be the case.
Normally don't have anytime for Mason, but credit where it's due, yesterday he was the right man for the game.

Good handling all round. Unusual for a ref!
