I think he'd have to be a doubt not having played since January

Shame. Would have been interesting to see Defour vs Cork ;)

Not too bothered about watching them play against each other, but looking forward to the day when both in Clarets squad playing together. :)

I think he put something on Instagram saying the procedure had gone to plan.

He'll be back in time for a Sean Dyche pre season.

Also no word on Robbie's progress on whether its going to plan, over 3 months now. Was it orginally estimated as 12 months before we would see him playing again or the start of next season?

Martinez said, a while back, he was hoping he'd be fit for the World Cup but he might just have been being polite.

There's a chance he can return in May. There's also chance he could make the World Cup.

Obviously, there's also a chance neither will happen.

He can't play for us in May - he's no longer registered in our squad to play in the Premier League which is why it can be said with some confidence that he's out for the season.

I think it is simply because there is nothing to report. At the time of the injury it was reported by the Irish press that he would probably miss their summer friendlies but hopefully he'll be back for pre-season training.

I don't think we can expect to get updates to be honest, we don't work like that. At some point Sean Dyche, in a press conference, will say he's progressing but I think that's some way down the road yet.

It's pretty obvious really given that's where we play and he can't play for anyone else this season.

He can play behind closed doors. My understanding is that Belgium will take him to the World Cup if he can prove that he is fit, he doesn't have to play in the Premier League to prove that. Lucky, because as you say he can't!
