Count Dankula guilty for telling a joke

Youtuber, comedian, shitposter, whatever, Count Dankula has just been found guilty in a court up in Scotland and is awaiting a potential 2 month prison sentence for videoing a prank on his girlfriend and uploading it to YouTube in which he trained her dog to lift its paw for a treat when it heard a well known, dark humour internet meme that I can't repeat on here. Context evaporates, man convicted for telling a joke, **** this country.

That's a seriously worrying precedent.

I'm all for limiting hateful and awful speeches and actions. Banning various people from the country - it was easy to get swept away with this when it first started.

But it's worrying, if it's true.

Unfortunately Hamza and dicks like him are free up to a point.
Same with Tommy Robinson being at Speakers Corner yesterday I think it was.

They're free up to a point, so they tend to be clever with their wording so it's just on the right side of being legal, despite there often being other meanings to their words.

Don't be a knob, we're all on the same side on this issue. The likes of Tommy Robinson aren't arseholes for defending free speech in this instance, but they are arseholes in general.

I am all for free speech. Never once have I called for any restrictions on peoples voices who offend me, annoy me or whatever.

But, as you already know but deliberately evade in an attempt to make me look like a hypocrite. I do not believe people who incite violence and murder should be protected by the law to do so. There is a world of difference airing offensive views and inciting violence.

I'm yet to be convinced Islam is a race.

As for what I said about their speeches, they are generally clever with their wording to avoid arrest.

It took the police/intelligence service years to nail Hamza and then Choudary due to how they worded it.
Choudary was caught with the help of a secret recording I think.

Robinson will get caught out eventually, just takes time and patience.

His personal politics are pretty clearly left-wing (he occasionally writes columns for the Guardian), but he's not really a "political" comedian (particularly his earlier stuff). He's massive on the stand-up comedy scene (which is generally in itself pretty left-wing, I suppose)

If you've never heard of him, I'd definitely recommend watching a bit more (a full show rather than YouTube clips) - you'll either love him or hate him, but he's one of the best comedians of all time on my opinion (fwiw).
