Apparently someone in the Nelson area has won the 250,000 jackpot on the SKY Super 6 prediction thingy.
A frequenter of this board, perhaps?

Does anybody remember the lass who won £100k on Golden Balls - hosted by Jasper Carrott?
I remember going into the gym at St Peter's about a year later and she was working behind the desk. Blew £100k in 12 months and so needed to work again.

To be fair, it's only £100k. Not a huge amount in the grand scheme of things.
Probably pay a good chunk off a house and that's about it.
