I know he has only played a few games for us but I have been very impressed by him so far and he seems to be getting better each game. He shoots on sight , can beat his man and deliver good quality into the area and his chasing back and doing his bit for the team is impressive too. His first goal for us can't be too far away.
All in all I think he is another master stroke by our leader who will get him back to his best and beyond. UTC.

He's very good but I doubt we'll ever seen the very best Aaron Lennon. You can see why Lennon was a target for us though, he works hard defensively but has that spark going forward.

And I like it.

He'd have had his first goal but for a world class save from Ederson.

Top signing.

His defensive workrate has impressed me.

Going forward is about what I expected.

To be fair, apart from maybe a little bit less pace, he's not much less of a player than in his prime. Was and is good at dropping a shoulder and knocking it past a defender, but end product wasn't a strength. Might have even improved since. Very good signing for us, nonetheless.

Not really a surprise that we will probably not see the best of Lennon given his age.

At his best he was a regular in a very good Spurs team and in the England team.

What I do think we will get is a revitalised player who has got a new lease of life and whilst he may have lost a little bit of his pace and possibly more prone to injuries than when he was younger on the flip side he has more experience and will have improved in his decision making.

He's a quality player and I doubt there are many wingers who are as tough as him. He never shirks a challenge and if he gets kicked like most wingers do he's happy to give it back - they make em hard in Leeds !!

Quick (still quicker than anyone we have by far), tricky, hard working, skillful, technically very good, direct, committed, great attitude, a point to prove. Basically what we have needed every season at this level. Outstanding signing.

His reading of the game is great, almost a step ahead of those around him when he's got the ball and looking for a pass, our forwards will learn loads of quality movement from his anticipation. A bit like Detour in terms of the higher quality, unsurprising given his career pedigree. Excellent attitude, doesn't like like the type of player to strop or sulk, never gives up and has an unrelenting hunger. Unlucky not to have that first goal but with the positions he creates for himself, this won't be gar away. So glad to have him here.

Will probably get his first goal for us on Saturday, he's been getting closer, and I think the rest coupled with some more work on the training pitch will come up trumps this weekend.

He's yet to get a Dyche pre-season under his belt too....

Could be wrong but I assumed that KRBFC wasn’t meaning that he’s less of a player than he was. More that there will be additional expectations of him defensively, which will limit his opportunities to really show what he can do at the other end of the pitch.

There’s some truth in this although he’s found a good balance for me so far.

Fair point, but I would assume that as he is past the natural prime age of a professional athlete that he probably has lost some of his raw pace and footwork, but maybe his knowledge and experience has improved enough to evolve and cover those flaws. I haven't seen enough of him in his prime to know the answer to that though.

The bloke had a shaved line in his eyebrow. That’s all you need to know about how good he was

Whatever happened to his brother Anthony? He was a half decent player at Leeds wasn't he?

Losing a little pace is no bad thing, his brain can now keep up with his feet.

His decision making looks better than in his Leeds/early Spurs days.

Like all players the end product is subjective but his defensive work has surprised me, really impressive.
