Funny man. His politics and dress sense aren't my cup of tea but he's funny and has both an impressive intellect and admirable drive to make a difference.

I really warmed to him when he did all those marathons going through the pain barrier.

He's very witty and creative. Doubt he understands much about "real life" (as lived by your average Brit) though.

Some people on here are true wind-upers. It's total embarrassment in my book, like when on Question Time Not a single thing going for him and another nail in Labour's coffin.

Should be prosecuted under Trade Description legislation. He keeps getting referred to as a comedian. Only one person in the whole world less funny and that's Russell Brand.

Neither Izzard nor Brand are particularly funny. Both came across on QT as not very nice at all. Lots to say but vitriolic as hell if you didn't agree with them.

Eddie is he or Eddie isn't he can't make my mind up.

His career in comedy will suffer when people realise he's not as funny as Dianne Abbot.

There is a fine line between someone who is genuinely a man trapped in a woman's body and attention seeking. I think he falls in to the latter category.

Personally, I feel it’s somewhat fitting; a joke of a person joining a joke of a party, with neither joke being funny.

Saw him at the Mechanics a few years ago.

Not good.

He’s been a bit hit and miss this season. On his day though he is comfortably Chelsea’s best player and was a huge actor in their last two championship wins.

That reminds me,It doesn't seem that long ago that Cameron was calling eurosceptics racists, fruitcakes, xenophobic little Englanders...Turns out he was talking about more than half the voting public. Big miscalculation, it's not clever to insult and ridicule people.

I really liked Izzard on QT. He single handedly secured thousands of extra votes for Leave during the run up to my side winning in EU referendum.
