Never Mind The Bolllocks: Best punk track?

Just listening to the original LP and despite my reservations about the Sex Pistols, it’s a good record with some clever tunes and lyrics. Not the best punk stuff ever - but a great start!

What was the best punk track ever?
Me,
1. Complete Control - The Clash

I listened to the Vapours for the first time recently having only ever heard Turning Japanese before . They had some really nice stuff I wasn’t aware of, almost Elvis Costello like I thought.

Gareth Southgate wouldn't agree. He's discovering now that a good Hart these days is hard to find...

Public Image Limited - Public Image...play loud...Johnny Rotten's other band - a better song than anything the Sex Pistols did [although I was a fan of them..]

Bloody hell wexford... two in a week?

Complete control is quite superb.

Suspect device by SLF will take some beating.

Sheena by Ramones is quality.

Hampstead. Great shout.

This question is as hard to answer as “who’s your favourite player?”

Those first two PIL LP’s were absolutely outstanding. Still buying Jah Wobble’s stuff when it comes out... regularly.

Brilliant suggestion by Wile E Coyote i.e. Something That I Said by the Ruts. Not heard that for a while but a brilliantly angry sounding track with a great riff.
Suspect Device a great punk track too.
Overall I think I'd have to pick Anarchy in the UK with White Riot by the Clash a close second.
