It'd be a costly day for me if we drew Trelleborgs. I've already promised to buy every Trelleborgs fan a pint for knocking your shower out if they were ever in Blighty!

You're safe. The Swedish qualifiers were decided on the 2017 league (summer league in Sweden) and Trelleborgs weren't even in the top division - they've just won promotion back there.
Trelleborgs were never one of the powerhouses of Swedish football, anyway. They only played the once in Europe, and Blackburn Rovers is the only club they've ever knocked out. Imagine what they could have done with 11 men!

This is wonderful news!

Someone in Wales would be ideal for the first round we go into if we do, the Mrs decided to book a holiday the same time as the two qualifiers! A nice trip to Turkey would be good for the round after!

This is Burnley - if by chance we do manage to hold on to 7th we'll get TNS to get through, followed by the likes of Krasnador, Fenerbache, Hannover and Dundalk.
Not a chance we'd get a group like Lisbon, Villareal, Sparta Prague and Ajax

Saxo, serious question: Were you out of Primary Education when Rovers lost against the part-time Swedish side?

Maybe he should be renamed Billy Maddison?

Anton Greizman, after scoring a goal; went up to a camera and bent down and made an obscene gesture with his ass to the camera, into the homes of over 400 million viewers, including children. He is still alive. That is the Europa League media package in action.
I hope Burnley finish 8th.

400 million? I highly doubt that.
If it's true, you want Burnley to miss out on that?

Yes. I don't like the media machine of the Europa League and the politics behind it.
