Yeah, why do people who enjoy something tell other people about it? Football teams, footballers, food, religion, holidays, politics, fashion, TV, film. Let's ban any mention of any of them in case somebody happens to "push" their tastes.

Music especially though. I have my tastes and keep them to myself. My only dislike is Rap music since around the late 90s to date. Negative influence on young society.

I've been learning guitar for a number of years. It has taken me in some interesting musical directions.

Well, I'm glad for the things that I like that were mentioned by somebody pushing their tastes to me; some obvious, some not. If I didn't like them, I didn't lose much by listening. I can't imagine anyone has discovered their tastes in music unhelped by someone else signposting things.

Always love that version...first time I saw it when he came down the stage stairs singing like he was on mogadon then upping the tempo and volume was pure theatre! Loved it.

Hadn`t heard that till last week when it was on an episode of The Blacklist, I had to look it up and listen on YouTube to see who they were. Great cover.

Springsteen’s “cover” (yeah strictly speaking he re jigged it) of his own “ghost of Tom joad” with Tom morello on guitar is spectacularly good.

That Bowie shout reminds me... nirvanas “man who sold the world” from their stint on unplugged. Perfect but for the bum note from the guitar part way through.
