Too many posts had to be removed so had no option but to remove it. One poster to blame, he’s now had his account suspended.

When Liverpool are on it, they are really on it.
Will Salah pip DeBruyne to the POTY prize?
Wouldn't surprise me at all.

If Liverpool could defend they would be real title contenders.

This is why when people say history (i.e. we hadnt won at wba for 50 years) means nothing they are wrong. The hirstory liverpool have as a club vs city definitely comes into it here.
In terms of talent theres not much between top players. So psychology comes into it big time.

The two things going for Liverpool tonight .. European traditions and Salah.

Said it for years. How its took them so long to address that is beyond me.
For years theyve spent too much on defensive gambles.van dijk was an excellent signing. They needed him more than coutinho.

Lets see what peps made of eh. Thought the decision to rest sterling, a player in amazing form against his old club bizarre.
Fancy city to get into it. As above liverpool cant defend. So doubt theyl change tbe approach.

And the crowd.
Ian Wright and another were discussing who would win tonight earlier on sky.
They both said Liverpool, when pressed by the host, they said playing at Anfield is different , when that music comes on and the crowd is rocking, it does things to your frame of mind. There's no other place like it.
From 2 professionals of the game.
History, tradition and passion is impossible to buy.

Shouldn’t even be a contest. Salah has easily been the player of the year.

I'm not a particular fan either, but the atmosphere when at its best cannot be matched anywhere else in England. They can certainly seem to carry their players on these special occasions at times.

game changer with Salah going off, far more difficult for Liverpool to get things going up top, all gonna be down to if City can find a way to score - away goal changes everything

They'll probable blame the incident with the team bus on the disastrous performance of the first half .

gobsmacked at Klopps substitutions this half
They want to replicate the intensity of the first half so he brings on Wjinaldum and Solanke, the one guy they've got on the bench that runs himself into the ground doesn't get a look in, bizarre

Excellent from liverpool. Not only up top but defensively too. The entire back 4 have been immense. A masterclass from klopp. So good in intense games.

Citeh well below par, but Sane was shocking. A great talent but doesn't have the temperament for the big matches.

I think if you are put through what the city players were it must effect you a bit, one brick through the window glass in your eye career over.
Hopefully they will be able to use this and other cctv to find and prosecute the warm hearted scousers. ken Dodd would be turning in his grave.

Is he though? Hasn't he lost like all (or nearly all) the finals any of his teams have been in?

Totally agree. Id throw the scousers out tbh. Its football for christ sake. How would these people react if some yobs were chucking bricks at them on their way to work*.
