Nah nothing to do with us or the Merseyside derby earlier.

I am in the most boring place I've ever been to and am tempted to pay €300 so I can fly home on Monday, 4 days early... Live and learn eh!

Never never never. A combination of books, puzzles, the odd game of football on TV, and the joy of putting my feet up doing nothing while not being at work - what's not to like? I could do that on a Norwegian desert island and not be bored.

I worked out I've visited 48 countries on my various holidays and the only 2 places I wouldn't go back unless somebody paid for me are Malta and Amsterdam. Just found Malta boring - though I did see a game at the National Stadium - and Amsterdam was 1 big sleazefest. No doubt other people love these places and that's fair enough, it's all subjective.

If you came to Malta to watch footy you came to the wrong place. As for boring, you are probably not much into history, scuba diving, snorkling, water sports................ I have friends who have visited several times and still find new places to explore and things to do.
