South Shields have just realised details of their new kit deal with Puma along with their bespoke kits for next season

I know their fan base has increased recently, but they not sure how it’s enough to have arranged for a bespoke kit

That's not a bespoke kit, no matter what they're trying to say.

The only reason I’m aware of it is because my mate who is from there sent it me.

If it’s not, and they are advertising it as such, then they could have some explaining to do when we release ours

I suspect, in their terms, the embroidered badge makes it bespoke, although that may be pushing things a bit. The other thing is, having dealt with a lot of the major players in the kit field over the last 25 years, I don't think anyone out of the big companies, Puma included, would produce a one off kit in numbers below 2-3000. I know that South Shield are averaging over 1500 attendances, but if 30% of those bought a shirt they would be doing well. Don't know how many youth, junior teams they have but they would need a lot, to make the sales figure up to 2,000. Its the badge with a doubt

Don't care if it's bespoke or not. It's well smart.

A friend of mine was told by a member of staff in the club shop that our kits were bespoke this season. They are very definitely not and I suspect this won’t either.

I presume that's the women's team kit from the upper body and shoulder styling.

It looks like a claret dress with tit bulges where the badges are.

It's based on a muscular man's body

What prats they look and a bit fagged up. One cannot play football with that comic physique.

And the hands, which appear poised to pleasure a couple of lucky gentlemen.

George Best and Lionel Messi could run rings round those beefed up idiots.

George Best would have a job running rings around anything.

That's more normal for a footballer than the beefed up ones who probably have to turn their bodies to turn their heads becuase their neck is so thick.

A prat comment from Milltown 1882. Best DID run rings round nearly every team he played against.

I believe it was the away kit which was more bespoke, with the wording into the material.

It was a template though - just a choice of lettering as in same way as training kit.
