Southampton wont win the cup but we'll get knocked out of Europe straight away by a Welsh team.

Most of Burnley voted to be out of it.
Now we can't wait to be in it.

SD's ability to learn and develop is more relevant than his historic cup record. Also, a European experience could propel him into the Top 6 job that his talents ultimately (will) deserve.

Re: EUROPE!
Assuming we're in the Europa next season, at which round would we enter it and what date would our first match be? I notice that the preliminary round matches start on 28th June!

Re: EUROPE!
Third qualifying round I think which I believe is end of July. That would mean two two legged to get into the group stage. I think that is what Everton went to but some people suggesting there is a new rule that would put us straight into the group stage if Arsenal won the Europa League, but I haven’t seen anything about that to confirm itTonbridgeClaret wrote:Assuming we're in the Europa next season, at which round would we enter it and what date would our first match be? Re: EUROPE!
I think we enter in 2nd Qualifying round which is towards the end of July but if Arsenal win it this year we go into the 3rd Qualifying round which is 9th & 16th Aug. I think Everton prob entered 3rd round last year rather than 2nd because Utd won it
Not 100% but think thats how it work this year. Going in at 3rd round on 9th Aug would fit in well with pre-season so come on Arsenal in Europe!!

Re: EUROPE!
Am I right thinking that any Europa games (Ican't believe I'm typing this) won't be included in the standard season ticket programme ?

Re: EUROPE!
Brexit was not a vote to be out of Europe.
The EU is not Europe.
We have not turned our back on Europe, but instead we have chosen as a nation to face forward to it directly.
The EU was fast becoming the 4th Reich of Eurasia, aided and abetted by UEFA with countries like Azerbhijan and Kazakhstan allowed into the cohort when they are quite clearly in Asia.
Merkel wanted the old Otterman ally Turkey as the hub and Russia as the 1939 Eastern ruler of Eurasia.
It's was a vote against Merkel's open legs policy of getting some new sperm into Germany and the rest of the EU because the natives weren't doing enough in the bedroom and there was an ageing population.
Generally only the very poor and the very rich have large families, the 4th Reich creationism also wants to destroy the middle classes who have less children and more brains so more opposition.
It's very silly, but then Merkel is silly and that's why England voted Brexit.
Burnely taking on Europe is no different to Bomber Harris doing Dresden.

This thread has all the draw dates and fixture dates but doesn't answer your question. Although I thought I read earlier 7th place will come in at preliminary2.

Re: EUROPE!
Come on Newcastle, put one up the Arse.
Re: EUROPE!
Its most likely we'd enter in the 2nd qualifying round, at the end of July. Then the 3rd qualifying round then a playoff just to get into the group stage, which would mean 6 away games. As I've only got 8 days holiday left I'm currently working out a plan for how the hell I'm gonna get to em!
