Against other teams in Europe sitting 7th?

I have read some comments stating the premier league must be an inferior league if a team like Burnley can be 7th but should credit only go to teams playing beautiful football and overflowing in talent or does hard work, organisation and talent have equal value or even more value?

To win 5 straight premier league games in an amazing achievement for any team but even more impressive for Burnley

I would say the premier league is a superior league to others simply because any team can beat anyone. Stoke are playing some great football and will probably get relegated, as are Southampton and Palace. The reason Burnley are 7th is because most other teams are either drawing or beating each other, we have have out performed every team outside the top 6.

And it looks like it is going to get even better because SD and team keep learning and that team is bigger than any individual, no other team can say that.

It's worth remembering that while Everton did get dicked a lot after finishing 7th, this was their league form when they were getting dicked in Europe. (they won their last game on Dec 7)

leipzig, fiorentina, montpellier, boavista are all 7th in the main european leagues.

Is the link which contains all the clubs who took part in this years europa league. Not much to worry about.

The teams should be no better than Leicester , Everton or ourselves. My worry is they may play a more relaxed sit back and break style which we don't cope well with. We seem to win on the back foot breaking away.

Will be interesting if we have a fully fit squad and keep our best players. If this does happen we should be able to attract more of the lennon and defour calibre of players. Not that I would change anything at the moment.

We have a tremendous defensive shape and work ethic. That will be great for the away leg. At Turf Moor...we have us!

At the end of our first year in European football, people will be asking how we did so well. Have faith!

Good image. Plenty of wins there and all the losses are probably games you'd expect them to struggle I nanyway, aside from Soton

7th place in most countries does not earn a Europa League qualification. I think it might be 3rd and 4th in Portugal.
