'Useless' Klopp

Klopp has called the comback by West Brom 'useless'
"I don't think that point will help West Brom massively, it is a complete waste of points. They don't need it, we would have needed it," Klopp added."
I find his arrogance amazing. It is not a waste of points - they are not relegated yet! He also blamed the 'dry pitch' for contributing to liverpool not winning. He sulks massively when a result goes against them time and time again

He was quite novel when you only heard from him eight times a season on ITV when he was at Dortmund. Good fun when he wins but as good as his Liverpool team can be, he's a terrible loser. Being a massive arsehole when you lose doesn't make you a 'born winner' or 'determined' or owt' stupid like that, it just means you're a knob who lost a footy match.
Good on Darren Moore, too. Really nice bloke whom the players seem to respect, and has got his team working their socks off. Four points against ManU and Liverpool is decent by anyone's standard.

I'm playing devil's advocate here, could that attitude be why the Germans are so successful? I personally enjoy it when you see the managers, or players real feelings rather than the wooden non interview you get where whatever the question they say "I thought the team played well, we stuck together, one game at a time" etc etc, even if it does make them look a bit of a tit, they are humans after all. Well some of them are

He literally blamed the pitch for blowing a 2-0 lead.
They're playing on the same ****ing pitch!

How can a comeback be useless? If you’re behind, then in order to try and win there must be point at which you draw level. West Brom were trying to comeback and win to take 3 points but couldn’t quite manage it. It’s almost as if Klopp is suggesting that because they are almost down they shouldn’t bother trying and give the 3 points to teams who need it at the top

Simple explanation is that he's being a tw@t.

Find Klopp quite annoying and don't get the media love in.

You'd think the best attacking team in Europe would be able to beat the worst team in the PL at least once in three attempts.

Let us not lose sight of the fact that his first language is not English and that useless was not quite as we would use it.

What he said was pretty much the case - he just expressed it in a way that could be jumped on by any detractors (of which there seem to be a few commenting here).
His team is playing some good stuff this year and just knocked Pep's Citeh out of "The Big Cup", he's not doing too much wrong. Some of the media's love-in with him can get a bit annoying but that's not particularly down to him.

The Giant Cheerleader has a huge self sense of importance. Twice he’s told the interviewer in recent weeks you mustn’t have ever played football if you don’t understand that.... think the other was Everton.

This really ticks me off with pros. Just because they’ve played the game they think they know so much more than the fans. They make up ridiculous expressions and keep them in house so when they do use them you feel an idiot.
Football is the simplest game in the world and to justify the staggering money they earn they make it sound complicated.
Bertie Mee won the double at Arsenal and he’d been a physio, Laurie McMenemy won the FA Cup and he’d been a squaddie. Mourinho wasn’t much of a player and neither was Klopp.

Agree with wo didi here. Whilst he comes across as a plank he’s german. They want to win. They don’t care about being good losers like us because they dont want to lose or ain't happy losing. We however, don’t really mind. Aslong as we stay calm and graceful in defeat were ok. At times were proud to be recognised as good losers.

Find Koop a bit of a tub thumper. Seems good at getting his team up for the big games but drops too many points and gets knocked out of too many cups by the also rans. If they go out against Roma nobody will remember the beaten semi finalists no matter what the outcome was against City.

Worst possible draw imo. There is no way that defence can handle Dzeko for 180 minutes.

And that point could possibly mean an extra £2 million quid to go down with by maybe not finishing bottom?
Throw in a box of twix, and it's worth it.

That's exactly how I interpreted his comment
He mean't that the point WBA gained wouldn't count for anything in terms of them staying up. There are many nuances in languages, and this is one example where a slight variance can lead to misinterpretation.

When they play well, it's great to watch. Credit to the manager.
However, he then goes into overdrive, cuddling everyone in sight. He is not a team mate, he is the manager. Keep out!
His miserable reactions are the opposite.
Bi polar manager!

His team shouldn't bother to catch United as De Gea deserves to finish second because of his ability to win points for his team.

But it’s also his demeanour and disregard for the other team which makes me think he knows exactly what he’s saying. Either way, when things are going well he’s full of it but when the going gets tough he becomes disrespectful and self centred.

Liverpools rock star manager looks more like a constipated auditor to me - he has spent a massive amount of money and wasted a lot of it - but still can't see that if he'd bought a half decent keeper it would transform the team
(No offence intended to auditors (whether constipated or not)
