Scarves in the Cricket Field today

I saw someone previously talking about everyone taking their scarves to the game and creating a spectacle by swinging them above their heads. The atmosphere in there has been electric these last few games, and it would be good to add something visual to it.

I'm in, let's do it.

THIS!!

People just complain about CFS .... but without the atmosphere from there the ground would be prettt dead at times.

I look around from where I'm sat in the CFS and I can't think of a single time I've seen a section of other stands making noises other than clapping or shouting at referees.

Let's face it, the majority of those in the Bob Lord stand are incapable of getting too excited due to their age! ;)

Yhe I did think that when I was writing 3 stands but I thought it best not to leave anyone out.

In truth its the JH lot that I'm expecting a LOT more from.

I sit in block 6 on the front row of the Bob Lord very close to the away fans and can barely hear the home fans making any noise in the CFS so don't be having a go at the rest of the ground.

Not sure you can call the other stands. I’m in th jhu. There is a bit of noise occasionally. However most of the people who really want to sing have moved to the cfs. The acoustics have always been terrible anyway which is why the cfs works much better for singing. It is hard to sing if no one around you is and when you do the noise just goes into nothing

There's quite a bit of noise generated in the JMU but we sing at a normal speed so the resonant frequency is probably too low for you to comprehend in the CFS.

Maybe try and have a game in the CF stand Ty and you would see what people mean.

Although the longside for the Leicester first half were pretty good it seemed.

I understand people don't always want to sing and create an atmosphere, however those half a dozen in JHU and JUL respectively are flogging a dead horse. Your efforts would be multiplied by 10 if in CFS, get over here!

1,200 like minded people will create an electric atmosphere every time, it will take time for people to take the plunge and move.

What is a waste, is those in CFS that sit/stand in silence for 90 mins, want to be part of the atmosphere but don't want to help create it.

No doubt at all that having home fans in the cricket field helps with the atmosphere - get your scarves waving lads.

When there's a roar at turf moor it's a tremendous noise and that does it for me the Middlesbrough game is one to note!! Some games are a little flat though and that's how it is..we can't create noise as much as I would like what Inter vJuventus are gonna create today. That is going to be one BIG Noise!!

I was watching a game on TV a couple of weeks ago from Old Trafford when WBA were the opponents. 76,000 people in the stadium and you could hear the players asking for the ball.

cobblers, the cricket field stand occupants dont represent bfc fans, its just token gesture to allow a bit of singing every now and again , even then the cfs bods often get shouted down by the away fans along the way.

The club should supply one for every season ticket and leave the scarfs tied to your seat for the next match

Who needs the Eurovision song contest, when you've got European Football to watch!

Reasons to be cheerful!
